Alea L.: Hi, my name is Alea. I'm a teacher and I give Prezi a three out of five. For more reviews, click below. Before Prezi, I was using Google Slides and I was using PowerPoints for my own personal presentations for my graduate work and also for my second grade class. But I found them to just be kind of monotonous and boring after a while. So I was looking for something that would be more interesting and just provide more, something a little different visually for my students and also for my audience. I chose Prezi because I had heard of people using it before. I had seen people use it before so I decided to give it a try. I tried it because honestly it was a good deal. It was a free trial. It's good for teachers. I had kind of wouldn't say had a recommendation, but I had heard of it before. It had a good reputation. For integrating Prezi, it was really easy because I could just sign up with different Google accounts. I could use my personal Google account. I could use my school Google account and just sign up that way and it was free. Also, I was able to send it to the people that I needed to send it to as just a presentation. Then I could also play it and then also record it with a voiceover. So I was able to use it in multiple ways. I would recommend using Prezi as a way to make your presentations more interesting. If you're tired of always using Google Slides, if you're tired of always using PowerPoint, I would say that it's not something that you would want to use all the time because visually, I think that it can be almost dizzying. That's one of the reasons why I gave it three out of five, because it's very you zoom in, you zoom out, but it's got a lot of neat features, especially for a teacher. You can use maps, you can use and zoom in and out, you can use a lot of checklists and zoom in and out. It makes it interesting for students. I think that also if you are a college student and you're asked to use it, make different types of presentations, this will definitely be one tool that you can pull out so that you're not always using the same kind of format every single time that you need to present your information. There's some things that I think with Prezi that do make it a little more difficult than using PowerPoint or Google Slides. It takes a little bit longer if you want to add a lot of information, of course you don't want to add too much information to a presentation, but it's not as simple I would say to use as Google Slides where you can just plug the information in. It takes a little bit longer, I think, to create one. So just be prepared to do that. I also think that as a teacher, you would have to maybe use it with older students so that if you were going to have your own students use it, it would have to be older students. So I teach second grade and I think that unless they're more advanced and used to technology, it's not something that would be appropriate for their age level, because it's just a little bit too difficult for them to use. But for older students, I think it would be something that will be different for them and something that you could definitely integrate for yourself as a teacher and for your students to use.

Tyler S.: My name is Tyler, I'm an associate principal. I would give Prezi a five out of five. For more reviews like this, look below. Prior to using Prezi, I was primarily using Google Slides or Microsoft PowerPoints, and it didn't work out for me so well because it was so linear in nature, and it felt rather restrictive in terms of presenting a lot of information in an organized or graphical manner. I chose Prezi because of the flexibility. It really allows individuals to take mind maps, brainstorming slides, almost like a giant whiteboard, and really transform it into a presentation. It also lets the audience or the viewer look at the entire large scale image of what the entire presentation looks like and then drill into individual topics or components of the presentation. I just liked the overall feel of it. It really took it from that white board approach of what we might use in a classroom to really present a bunch of information, and then have the ability to drill down into the important information as needed. I would say overall Prezi was very easy to get started with. It's has an intuitive interface that is pretty straight forward. The tools that Prezi provides you allow you to really edit and create some pretty visually appealing information in very, very little time. My recommendation if you're considering Prezi is to really just dig in and give it a try. In the very beginning, it may feel a bit overwhelming just because it is such a large scale product that allows you to drill into individual content once you're creating it, but once you get the feel for how the animations work, it is a pretty neat tool that will allow you to really add some flexibility to the information that you're presenting.

Very good presentation tool, makes wow effect. Require preparation of png graphics to look good.
Three-dimensional environment, cool transitions and focus options, easy and intuitive interface.
No option to use your own font. Some troubles in use while videoconferences. Can't select multiple objects at once surrounding area using mouse.

I use mostly for internal presentations, with my coworkers. They are very useful for training and help a lot in terms of displaying graphs and data so that the information can be better understood. However, I have supported other teammates in creating business presentations and it has been an excellent experience. Not only the options it gives to create presentations but the speed at which you can create one are treasured features of Prezi
Prezi breaks parameters regarding creation of presentations. It is easy to use and it is very easy to embed text, links and images. It is incredible how someone with almost zero knowledge of graphic design can create a presentation with superior stylistic criteria. It has features that make presentations very attractive. Additionally, the ability to work in a team in the same presentation helps a lot.
There may be need a little more templates for the business version, day by day customers are more demanding and more impressive visual resources are needed. Taking into account the above, the excessive use of these resources can take center stage

Prezi started off as a competible alternative to Powerpoint, but now it is in a beta-stage where really all you should do is use Powerpoint and sit this one out. Let's see if they come around again.
I do like the looks of prezi. It's what I would call contemporary. I liked the flow of the slides and how one can create unique stories by blending into picture details or zooming out of them to show the bigger picture or relations between information/contents. Prezi has been easy to use and came with both prepared templates and blank pages to get creative all by yourself.
Prezi has implemented a total new surrounding. What's been free and a way more attractive alternative to Powerpoint now is paid and lacks a lot of features it used to have, such as creating or re-ordering slide paths / path hierarchies.

Prezi brings a level of engagement through their features that makes their presentations more hands on and interactive
Prezi is a great application for the creation of visually appealing and dynamic presentations. Not only does the creation of presentations come with ease, delivering to your target audience is made accessible through video sharing features
Prezi is a very versatile presentation editor. Compared to competitors like Canva, the constant new features, may make Prezi not as appealing for some projects
