Pros

Customization on this platform is really fantastic and everything is so easily customizable, the user interface is slick and clean and very friendly looking.
My experience with SurveyMonkey has been very impressive over the past several months. I have gleaned wonderful feedback for ways that I can continue to grow my company.
Great tool to gain some quick feedback on anything that may be on your mind. Nice to know what customers are looking for so that I can gear my business to meet their needs.

Pros

Delighted made it very easy for us to survey our users. I really liked the tight integration with Slack and the ability to integrate our data with Delighted data for improved reporting.
Easy, user friendly and great analytics are only a few words to describe this product. Also great price for what it allows us to do.
The team there was fantastic. We were a small company but they treated us like we were huge.

Cons

And completing would give you typically anywhere between 0.5-2. All surveys initially start with a few boring routine questions, which make you pissed off.
The company's take on my dilemma was - "Pay for it" and you'll get the information you need. In my opinion they shouldn't bother having a free version of this software if it functions that poorly.
There should be more protection factors when approving registrations and preventing fraud.

Cons

Limited integration options. Sending data to necessary tools would be a little difficult.
It's hard to work out how to survey existing customers already in the database.
Some filters disappear or are limited when using the integration with Shopify.

Keeping tabs in the user community

I have not used other survey tools. My company had already standardized on it, and we have been delighted.

Pros

I have been using survey money to monitor the users (200+) to track users' sentiments and identify new issues. I send out periodic surveys, and SurveyMonkey is straightforward to use and create\ questionnaires. I love the statistics and visualizations which I share with the community and my management.

Cons

To put a good survey together, you really need to think about your questions and understand how the community will interpret them. I wish there were more guidance and insights on their website about this topic. I had to go to other resources.

Powerful Survey Tool for Amateur Statisticians

It takes some work to get SurveyMonkey to integrate well with other systems for automatic feeding, but SurveyMonkey is great for pop-up polls or as a low cost tool to manage responses. The hitch with SurveyMonkey is that it's only as good as you are. So if you design a survey and later tweak the question, the data display won't really reflect that. So it's great if you follow proper methodology, but if you don't have a process for yourself it can become a rabbit hole of curious questions with incomparable responses.

Pros

Incredibly easy to generate surveys with drag and drop features. The ability to quickly display the results was nice and look at individual responses or the average/trend response. I was very delighted about their support, I had to call to attempt to restore data and they were able to reverse some things with a short call.

Cons

Larger data sets, or open-ended answers just don't flow well for SurveyMonkey. It's an incredibly powerful tool for polling, and while there's logic there for form building it's not robust enough for a professional image.

There's nothing more I would've expected from the product that I didn't get. They offer a variety of features. I got what I paid for. Period.

Pros

The ease of use of the overall product is simply breathtaking. The UI/UX team has put in real efforts in making this an excellent product. The survey design page is easy to figure out and the variety of question types makes SurveyMonkey stand out from the crowd. The participation page is a delight for the customers as well. The survey reports are easy to generate and calculations and graphs are simple to study at a glance.

Cons

The dashboard page needs some improvements.
