What is Greenbox?
Greenbox is a web-based document management system designed to help organizations store, track, modify, and manage documents on a centralized platform. Features include commenting, labelling, recurring reminders, watermarking, user management, bulk permissions, file transfer, and space utilization tracking.
It allows users to track file’s version history, restore previous ones, and monitor actions performed via audit trail. Team members can share the entire file or only sub-sections with individuals or groups and define the expiration date of shared links. Users can also search for documents by adding metadata or through open text and OCR methods.
Greenbox offers integration with Microsoft Word, letting team members edit documents directly from the application. Organizations can protect files through 256-bit AES encryption and manage role-based permissions to prevent unauthorized access or ransomware attacks. Employees can also save documents in a secured cloud repository and receive notifications when files are shared or updated.
