What is Notability?
Notability is a mobile-based note-taking application, which helps individuals collaborate and manage projects using sketching and PDF annotation tools. Users can create hand-crafted notes with GIFs, web pages, or images, rotate or color the ideas, and organize them as per requirements.
The application allows creators to combine various sketches or outlines and share the notes with team members through third-party platforms such as Dropbox, Google Drive, AirDrop, and more. Users can create custom content, receive written or verbal comments from colleagues, and playback audio recordings by tapping on the required note. Notability enables users to markup photos, documents, lecture slides, imported textbooks, and more.
Individuals can categorize notes with customizable dividers or subjects and secure notes using Face ID and Touch ID. It lets users create searchable multi-page PDFs using a built-in document scanner and allows left-aligned typing using various fonts, sizes, and colors. It also includes a partial eraser feature, which enables users to remove objects to split them apart and select the subdivided object separately for different purposes.
