Just started using this for my subscription based site. It's awesome with amazing tech support should you need.

I've used MemberPress on a couple of occasions with different types of sites. It is super easy to install on WordPress and has rich features that secure your site.

Memberpress has been pretty easy for me to set up and navigate by myself (not an overly techy person). I like the finished format, easy to navigate and track progress of my online courses.

It was quite simple to implement, had most of the features I wanted, and now I'm earning money every month from members who love my content and want more. I love how once set up it's quite automated.

I'm super happy that it has lots of connections to other software I'm using like: LearnDash and BuddyBoss.

MemberPress is easy to use and it feels like the perfect solution for what I needed.

The only issue that we ran across was the inability to cancel recurring payments through the MemberPress interface. We needed to manually cancel a subscription on the Stripe gateway.

I was worried at first but was pleased at the results. I'm really happy I bit the bullet and moved over to a more expensive albeit better supported WordPress membership management system.

It integrates seamlessly with wordpress, a lot of cool features, recurring  payments etc. The fact that it helps you set up a membership platform while developing content is pretty cool.

This is a great WP plugin. I like the ease of usage and all the capabilities.

I haven't found a better solution that meets my requirements. I've been VERY happy with it.

It has wonderful support material to get you started and up and running quickly. Payment gateway integration is flawless.

Customer support is fantastic and out of all the software we researched this one had the most to provide us for both settings and integrations with other plugins.

I like that the software was easy to use, and that adding to our WordPress website was just as easy. The instructions on what all the Membership had to offer is why we chose it.

Memberpress has been a great tool to manage  various tiers of membership access a large complex website whilst creating a secure e-commerce subscription system.

The integration with Elementor can sometimes be confusing.

They need to add the functionality of upsell, dowsell. This is really what is missing the most I find.

Instead I have to create several memberships for this and it's a pain to manage members of multiple memberships (i.e. pulling reports,etc.).

MemberPress controls access to back office functions for contractor sales agents. It allows me to ensure that agents under contract have access to some parts of the site, agents who are no longer under contract but still have unsettled business can still access a smaller subset of the site, and agents considering entering a contractual relationship can be given person-specific access to a different discrete set of pages to help them make their decisions and fill out contract forms.

I've spent DAYS asking support questions. They give the minimum answer with no real interest in helping to find a solution. If we weren't already in so deep, we'd move to a simpler, more user-friendly, platform. 

Unless you have weeks to dedicate to setup or you're a coder - don't bother

The best solution for subscription type e-learning or for restricting your content. Sadly it is a little bit hard to customize if you’re new to this and the design with regards to payment methods or log in are flat “boring”. The courses “new feature”, needs a lot of things to improve, I don’t even know how to use it and I can’t use elementor with it and has no quizzes available yet. There is also not enough guide on how to use it, the guy from youtube is confusing. Overall with regards to content protection I love it. I forgot to mention, some customers who request for password reset don’t receive any reply - again maybe I don’t know how to set it up.

We are able to allow new users to sign up, we get paid and can kick off automated scripts that talk to our other website management systems in a streamlined way.  Renewals are easy.

Flexible and Extensive Membership Payment and Portal Solution

I originally purchased WooCommerce and had a lot of trouble trying to configure it for use with memberships. It required several add-on purchases.  And then still was not compatible with my WordPress Theme (despite claiming to be, and this conclusion came from the Authorize IT help group). Whereas WooCommerce customer service was horrible, extremely slow to receive replies, often replies were irrelevant, and where relevant required coding experience to understand/implement...Memberpress Customer service was amazing.  Setup was easy without support; however, I wanted to do a few things with memberships that were non-traditional They were very quick with help, and it was very easy to understand, and included screenshots and instructions. It was clear that it was worth the money and effort to make the switch to Memberpress.  If they fully integrated with Stripe to allow use of Apple Pay, I'd say it was perfect for what I needed/wanted.

I looked at doing my membership site on my own. This is a no-brainer, time saver that gets me working on my business and my content now.

MemberPress fits nicely with my vision for online course creation.  I am new to the LMS world and did my due diligence before going with MemberPress. This involved price and functionality comparisons.  It is easy to use and the documentation is great. It also integrates well with Elementor which is a plus.

Overall it's great once I got it working right with WooCommerce. There are things that can be improved but nothing is a problem right now where it's too negatively affecting the experience.

So far so good. Someone suggested I try another, less expensive option for my membership site, but everything is working so well with MemberPress that I didn't think the money I would save was worth the trouble.

My business has traditionally required me to travel the globe and teach horsemanship. But in these times of covid 19, that's not possible. Memberpress has enabled me to earn income by attracting subscribers to my web site to view video and other forms of content. It's been a very rewarding experience and has helped build a community of my students.

We use for our competitive parents.  We have information about where the competitions are and the times of the competition.  Changes is training times. Because we are dealing with youth competitors we don't want this information being shown to the public.  

It is easy to set up groups for each level so everyone get the correct information.  No more sending out all those emails to remind parents  about the information over and over again.  We put it on the page and they know where to go to find the information and we can update it or change it if needed.

With the support, they also check in on you after to make sure that you have solved the problem.  This is nice and lots of times with plug-ins you have to keep on contacting them over and over till you figure out how so solve the problem

Cousett H.:                                            My name is Cousett, and I am a solopreneur, founder of my own business, and I work in the tech industry. And I give MemberPress five stars. When looking for a membership plugin for my new membership, I started just with an LMS plugin, and I wanted something that would provide more membership capabilities. I looked at Restrict Content Pro because it worked really well with my checkout system. I also looked at WooCommerce Memberships because I have previous experience with WooCommerce. All of those were great, but they did not provide the amount of flexibility that I could get with MemberPress and Restrict Content Pro was very specific to just restricting pages and posts. I honestly didn't do a lot of research into it, and WooCommerce Memberships did not work with my current checkout system, as I was using Easy Digital Downloads.
                                                       I went with MemberPress. It is one of the most popular WordPress plugins for memberships. It had easy integration with LearnDash, even though they were pushing out their own course's features. It also had great integration with Easy Digital Downloads through an add-on plugin called EasyPress. It kind of just made everything work together. It had lots of flexibility with drip content, with being able to do posts and pages and doing different membership levels. And then just recently I integrated it also with ThriveCart, which has been really great.
                                                       So when I first got it, I got it off of a Black Friday deal, and it seemed like it wasn't going to work. And I actually requested a refund, but working with it more and the onboarding process was really, really great. There were daily emails of like, "Okay, go set this up now and go set this up." Their documentation is incredible. I have a very, very complex setup. And even with that, it was very easy to set up and make all the pieces work. It seems like I haven't had any issues getting people into the right courses and so forth with my setup. It's impressive how easily it's all integrated. I do a lot of this kind of work, so I'm not a beginner, but I can still have a lot of issues with plugins if they don't have good documentation, good ways of finding the steps to do something. Then even I can even have a lot of issues with a plugin to get started.
                                                       So my biggest recommendation is if you're planning a membership, go for it from the beginning and plan out everything that you need to: your pricing, your structure, your membership levels, what you're going to be protecting, what's going to be at each level. Once you have all of that figured out, getting all of that set up in MemberPress is super easy and straightforward. The hardest part is just kind of determining how everything's going to look to the user, so getting all of that set up and figuring out your onboarding process and so forth.

                                                       I chose MemberPress because there are very robust features that come with the product. It's very affordable price point. There's also a lot of support, so setting up the plugin and adding it to my website was so easy. I received so much support through email and also directly contacting their support team. That was wonderful. It allowed me to set up my course and my membership up without a hitch, so really grateful.
                                                       Setting up MemberPress was easy. As soon as I purchased the plugin, I received a series of emails with step-by-step instructions telling me exactly how to install a plugin, how to adjust the settings, and then how to format and customize it so that it matched my websites, CSS and HTML.
                                                       For anyone looking to install MemberPress, please know that you need to be knowledgeable when it comes to WordPress and using the backend. Installing the plugin is easy, but setting it up so that it seamlessly meshes with your website, can be a bit tricky. So either you need to have robust knowledge when it comes to working with WordPress, or you need to have a great developer who can easily install the plugin and set it up.
                                                       Once it's set up, adding the content and also getting the payment gateway set up, is fairly easy.
