ExpenseTron overview

ExpenseTron is an expense tracking & reporting solution which allows users to track and reimburse team expenses, upload and manage receipts, plus approve expenses and purchase orders all within Slack. Users can also generate reports and sync with QuickBooks Online and Xero in real time. As an online solution, ExpenseTron gives users the flexibility to manage expense reports anytime, anywhere, via any internet-enabled device, including desktops, laptops, mobiles and tablets.

ExpenseTron enables users to submit expenses on the fly. Users simply have to start a chat with ExpenseTron, upload the photo of a receipt, or forward an email receipt with automatic email scanning and receipt scanning tools. ExpenseTron allows users to manage everything from filing and approvals to reports and accounting all from a centralized location. Customizable real-time expense reporting tools give users insight into employee expenses, allowing users to visualize data for paid or unpaid expenses, as well as an entire team’s expenses. All reports are downloadable.

ExpenseTron allows users to set-up and define an approval hierarchy which suits their business needs. Other ExpenseTron features include multiple currency support, mileage expensing and real-time chat support. With mileage expensing capabilities, ExpenseTron allows users to note the distance travelled, then converts it automatically to an amount for expensing. ExpenseTron will soon allow users to manage employees and their allowances Per Diem.

Organization of expenses and saving of employee timeThe integration with Slack has helped cut back on time that staff and bookkeeper spend approving expenses. Also the reporting feature and storing of receipts in Google Drive. I like I don't have to sit at my desk at the end of the month going through expenses and receipts.

Ease of use!I like that it's in slack, that it captures receipts and sends them straight to Google Drive. It's an automatic file system for expenses, and we don't need an additional app to do it since we already use and love slack.
