It combines the power of entry-level point of sale systems with the accessibility of enterprise resource planning solutions. The platform serves sectors such as electronics, clothing and apparel, furniture, toys and hobbies, pet stores and cosmetics while supporting both direct-to-consumer and business-to-business channels.

The solution features an intuitive point of sale interface with barcode scanning capabilities alongside comprehensive inventory management that employs first-in-first-out stock tracking and multi-location visibility. Product catalog management capabilities include layered categorization by product groups, brands, tags, gender and seasonal attributes. Omnichannel operations are enabled through ship-from-store functionality, click-and-collect options and buy-online-return-in-store processes. Advanced inventory controls offer cycle counts, stock takes and real-time tracking of stock movement between locations.

Customer management tools allow capture and tracking of profiles for individuals and companies with detailed purchase histories, marketing preferences and credit limit management. Preconfigured dashboards present real-time data updates while a powerful reporting engine delivers insights across products, locations, cash-ups, inventory and customer metrics. Wholesale operations are supported with quotation, order and invoicing workflows that operate alongside retail and eCommerce channels.

Bigplus integrates directly with eCommerce platforms including Shopify and WooCommerce, accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks and payment processing through Adumo Payments.
