What is Caisse enregistreuse?
Free-cash-register is a multi-language virtual cash register system that European businesses can link to a simple website for free. The system is suitable for all desktop platforms and mobile devices. A premium subscription unlocks various additional modules — for example, to connect peripheral hardware, such as barcode scanners, NFC readers, standard printers, and receipt printers.
Free-cash-register streamlines the processing of orders and sales. Product stock totals can be tracked, and customer data can also be entered via the system. Cash register reports provide an overview of all sales and accounting data. There is a dashboard where data is visualized and broken down by class or product group. There is also a facility to send PDF invoices, and simple marketing campaigns can be executed via email or text message. Restaurants can also enter their table layout to record orders per table.
Several employees can work with Free-cash-register at the same time. Data export is only enabled with some modules on a premium subscription. Cash register accounting files use the SAF-T format. All data is stored on secure private servers.
