Woodpecker overview
What is Woodpecker?
Woodpecker is a document preparation application aimed at the solo or small legal firms. The software automatically generates documents from templates using client data. Data can be entered through an input form and used to populate single or multiple documents, defined by class or selection. Woodpecker can also generate external questionnaires to interact with clients or other users. The results of these questionnaires populate chosen documents in the background, which are then conveyed to the creator. For complex integrations, Woodpecker offers an API for user-defined interfaces. It also works with Zapier.
When the templates have been populated with input data, Woodpecker analyses the output text for overlapping fields or grammatical inconsistencies. It will automatically update pronouns and verb tenses, as well as include or exclude clauses for consistency of content. Final documents can be exported in bulk as DOCX or PDF files, and Woodpecker can generate links for sharing.
