Yahoo For You & Me

Reviewed 2 years ago

Yahoo Mail has always been an extremely easy platform for all of my e-mailing needs! I have always had a positive experience with Yahoo Mail and will continue to recommend it to my co-workers, colleagues, and friends their primary source of e-mailing due to the ease of the platform, the cheap price, solid updates, and the other features that come with. You’re able to use Yahoo Mail across several different platforms and there’s nothing I can think of that I would need in addition to the features it already carries and provides.

Pros

The Yahoo Mail product and platform are extremely easy to use and are all around excellent. The integration with my business and with my schooling where an absolute breeze and I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a mailing system was several features that are easy to use, a platform interface that is compatible with your phone as well as your computer and even iWatch. It has helped me immensely with my school work, collegiate work, business, professional, and personal messaging. It is simple to use, inexpensive, and my top pick for an e-mailing and messaging platform.

Cons

I feel like Yahoo Mail has all of the features that you would need. There aren’t any that I feel I am seriously missing or lacking and that I would add. I definitely will continue to be using Yahoo Mail for a while, as I have already been using it for about 6 years and haven’t had any complaints about the program at all.

Trusted Mail Service for Over a Decade

Reviewed 3 years ago

Yahoo Mail is the first mail service I ever signed up for on my own. More than 10 years later, it still has relevance and value in the industry as a recognizable and trusted mail services. I am pleased with what I have received from it over the many years.

Pros

Yahoo Mail is one of the best services for sending and receiving e-mail. You can move, archive, star, or delete mail with the click of a button, and Yahoo Mail has folders available you can create to sort your mail. Though one of my cons mentions obvious spam filtering through into the main inbox, it is also easy to mark items as spam - and you can browse the spam folder and mark anything not as spam. The search bar works well to look for any specific mail items or senders.

Cons

The amount of ads on Yahoo Mail have ramped up substantially in recent years and can get in the way. Though this is likely affected by the amount of years I have had this Yahoo Mail account, I also receive a large amount of spam - and Yahoo doesn't filter out some of the most obvious scams.

Yahoo Mail: Your One-Stop Email Solution

Reviewed a year ago

Yahoo is providing good security with a built-in virus scanner to protect users from malicious attachments. It is one of the oldest email service and worth trying. It is a One Stop Email Solution.

Pros

It is one of the oldest Email service which lost its value somewhere. There are still many good things of Yahoo Mail like-1. Yahoo Mail allows users to customize their inbox and interface, making it easier to organize and access emails.2. It offers advanced search capabilities, making it easy to find specific emails or attachments.3. Yahoo Mail allows users to integrate their social media accounts, such as Facebook and Twitter, making it easy to keep up with social media activity.4. It has an excellent Mobile app.

Cons

Improvements are needed in these areas-1. Yahoo Mail has limited folder management options, which may make it difficult to organize and manage large amounts of email.2. Yahoo Mail has limited labels and tags, making it difficult to organize and categorize emails.3. It has limited formatting options for composing emails.4. Attachment preview options.

Best Free Email Service

Reviewed 2 years ago

Overall all features are very good , I am using Yahoo Mail from last 15 years and very satisfied but only thing is it has to update its features.

Pros

Storage, Can chat without downloading anything as soon as you open your mail box right hand side a chat box appears where you can chat and do mail simultaneously with your contacts, Has free calendar functionality. Scans emails for viruses thus help you protect your mails.

Cons

This mail box need to update itself and provide a good customer care, If you are giving something for free you should not compensate with advertisements to recover the cost, Commercial advertisements keep on floating which distracts the user and reduce concentration on important work.

Good mailing service but didn't evolve fast enough

Reviewed 3 years ago

Yahoo mail was the first email account I ever created for myself over 10 years ago and I've been using it ever since then. At the time, it was topnotch with no serious competition but somehow got left behind because it didn't evolve fast enough as the likes of gmail. Nevertheless, using yahoo mail is of sentimental value to me and I just wish it would evolve more rapidly with more amazing features.

Pros

What I like most about yahoo mail is that fact that I can create folders and redirect specific mails with keywords in there without having to move them myself.

Cons

I think the spam management algorithm of yahoo mail needs some upgrading because it often finds it difficult to differentiate spams from primary which makes a mess of the inbox. As well, some important mails often get dumped in the spam folder. And I wish yahoo remove ads from yahoo mail or at least reduce them, they can be very annoying. I'll like to see yahoo mail take more advantage of cloud storage like what gmail does with drive.

Yahoo Mail

Reviewed 2 years ago

Yahoo Mail has always been my favorite email provider due to its simple appearance and and fast loading.

Pros

Yahoo Mail is among the most early and experienced email service providers, that started to provide free of cost email facility to internet users around the globe. It has a very simple and easy to use layout and you can easily compose and send emails. Yahoo mail highly values the privacy of its users and keeps your data and communications secure. It provides its standard users with a generous 1 TB of storage capacity for mails and files which is quite a lot for majority of users. Along with its browser based website version, it also have dedicated apps for Android and IOS.

Cons

I use Yahoo Mail through its application on my android, and often it fails to notify me about a new email on time an I only get to know about them when I open the app.

long-standing software with a stunning history

Reviewed 3 years ago

I have exceptional experience of using Yahoo Mail. It looks like an email service only, but it’s a very informative platform that provides useful information worldwide. If you want to be aware of everything and secure email services, Yahoo Mail is recommended for you.

Pros

No doubt, Yahoo Mail has a superb history in email services and still a tireless competitor. It helped me a lot since my college stage in sending assignments and interacting with my professors. With some unique features, Yahoo makes its existence possible in this strong competition. It has extensive loyalty throughout the globe. It provides its customer with protected and encrypted services to interact with each other. It is offering four plans, three for personal use and one for business purposes. All of them are user-friendly and safe. Yahoo mail is a low price email management tool that best in class Yahoo Mail, breaking local, national, and global news, finance, sports, and more. I enjoy news from Yahoo. It’s fabulous software.

Cons

Yahoo Mail does not easily integrate with Microsoft and Google software, which creates difficulty in using their features with Yahoo Mail. Despite this, everything is acceptable.

All mails combined software

Reviewed 2 years ago

It hasn't been a very nice one considering features like filtering which don't work properly .I can say it has it's positive and negative sides which needs an improvement.

Pros

I love so much how one can access their personal mails in any device like phone, desktop. The app has got some customized options for example filtering. Also,it's not very expensive even for starters since they can also access some features without necessarily paying for them.

Cons

Most of the mails are found in spam folders even for the most important ones. You will only know these after you have waited for so long without a reply and you decide to check it in spam. At times, images in the mails just vanish on their own without a trace.

Yahoo Mail served me well for several years. It was my first email address however I eventually found the functionality of Gmail to be better.

Fantastic value and a great all purpose product

Reviewed 2 years ago

Love yahoo and the versatility I get with it. The emails deliver and are received quickly, inbox and folder manipulation is fantastic and I can customize it. Great choice.

Pros

Yahoo offers a succinct package that is flexible enough for a novice but powerful enough for a serious professional. It is everything you could possibly need without being bogged down with things you don’t.

Cons

My only negative feedback would be the email name choices are used by many people so you must get a tad creative or add a number to your name for a unique one. True of most email programs.

Yahoo Mail

Reviewed 3 years ago

Yahoo Mail has been one of the initial email services that I started using. Its elegant design and services along with its messenger soon made it my favorite Email platform.

Pros

Yahoo Mail counts in the few email services that started to provide services to the general public and that too free of cost. Yahoo mail offers fast email delivery service. It emphasizes a lot on user's data security and privacy. It has a simple and clean user interface and intuitive design with an apt spam detector.

Cons

The only drawback that I can see in Yahoo Mail is that its free version shows Ads in the main inbox, apart from that everything is good.

Best way to keep in touch with friends and family circle.

Reviewed 2 years ago

I am a Gmail user since 2013 but it was time for me to switch to a new email, so I decided to give Yahoo a try. At first, I didn't find the interface anything special, but I got used to it. I like the color coding on the folders. I also noticed that it is more secure.

Pros

It is one of the best ways to keep in touch with friends circle and family. I love it because it allows me to communicate with friends and family without having to pay a ton of money on a monthly basis. Yahoo mail is also very easy to navigate.

Cons

Although Yahoo mail's features are basic, still we can't beat the price and it's easy to use. I recommend this for anyone who just wants a super simple platform to send and receive emails.

Not the best one

Reviewed 3 years ago

A good cheap email account, but not the best due to too many ads. It is also dated compared to others.

Pros

Yahoo mail is very easy to use with a good user interface and a big cloud storage, larger than other platforms. You can activate a new account in a few minutes.

Cons

There is too much spam and advertising. The suite offers fewer gadgets than competitors like Google.
