Designed for IT departments, IT resellers and consultants, as well as managed service providers (MSPs), Altaro VM Backup provides robust, streamlined, enterprise-level functionality for backup, replication, and deduplication. Data backup and replication can be managed within Altaro VM Backup through features including augmented inline deduplication to speed up backups, WAN-optimized replication to any remote site, continuous data protection (CDP) for more frequent data backups, and concurrency to facilitate more backups simultaneously. All backed-up VM versions can be booted from the backup location at any time in the case of a disaster, and individual files can be retrieved from VM backups in a few clicks. The Altaro VM Backup backup health monitor continuously tracks backup storage health to ensure data is available at all times, and any corruption is automatically repaired as part of the next backup.
