What is Everlaw?
Everlaw is a litigation platform that allows legal teams to collaboratively discover, reveal, and act on information for internal investigations and litigation cases. The platform provides eDiscovery solutions using artificial intelligence (AI) and data visualization to reveal hidden details in evidence and documents.
Everlaw's built-in AI and machine learning carries out various big data processing activities such as multi-lingual translation, automated error-handling, deduplication, document imaging, optical character recognition (OCR), and deNISTing. Analytics provide users with access to interactive visualizations to review and identify valuable information. The software also provides insights into document dates, metadata, contents, file formats, review activity, and predicted relevance.
Everlaw enables secure collaboration between colleagues, business partners, and counsels to provide alignment and cohesion among investigative teams. Teams can prepare cases for trial using the story builder, constructing case timelines and argument outlines for collaborative review. With in-platform messaging, users can securely share files and send comments and notifications between collaborators.
With Everlaw's self-service upload tool, documents can be imported to the data ingestion engine in multiple formats such as audio, visual, text, email threads and attachments, and from business communication platforms such as Slack and Microsoft Teams. The integrated deposition tracking tool allows teams to create outlines for depositions, case arguments, and narratives and store an online repository.

What do users say about Everlaw?
We will use the ECA feature, promote documents for review and production, migrate the work product to the produced document, and then demote the original documents to the ECA database to save on hosting fees. After a production is run, the review project now has 2 of every document produced. If I was running a production on 1GB of data and the resulting production took up 1.5GB, even if I demote the original documents right after the production, we are still billed for 2.5GB even though the originals were only on the review side for maybe an hour after they were produced.
