Initially, easyTithe was the solution we needed. It served us well until we were ready to bring our online giving solution under a different umbrella that included another suite of solutions we were already utilizing.
In our pursuit of an online giving solution, we found easyTithe to be the most affordable and offer the most bang for the buck. Implementation was simple and straightforward. We were pleased with how easy it was to get into an online giving solution.
Our least favorite aspect was the third-party reality of this solution. We didn't like having to link to yet another website to offer a giving solution on our website.
Pastor Stevan, I am so sorry to hear you were not completely satisfied with your experience with easyTithe. We have recently added several systems like Breeze and Planning Center to our already long list of systems that we can integrate with. We have also made some great updates with our Giving Portal as well, you can embed our donor portal directly to your website and customize it in so many ways. We are sorry we lost you as a customer, if you are not completely satisfied with your new system, we would love to have you back with our family once again!

It worked for awhile and the donors were happy 80% of the time.
The price was right and it was pretty easy to set up when we switched to EasyTithe 3 years ago. Seems to be pretty easy for the donors
Setting up Forms is not very user friendly. (though it has improved from first platform). Customer service for settlements and other issues is terrible. I have waited on for more than an hour a few times and support tickets take 7 days or more for response. Currently, they have not deposited thousands of dollars in donations made 2 weeks ago. (They have not responded to our support ticket on this)

Having all the donor's contact information with the donation is very helpful for me as I must record all donations for a year end giving record.
I have looked for less expensive options for a merchant provider but have found that Easy Tithe provides all the necessary features that I need to record all our member giving.
Occasionally, a donation doesn't show up in a timely way when I print reports. The donation is made in the early hours of the morning and they aren't recorded in the same day as the date of donation.

Easy Tithe was not only easy to implement administratively, it also has been extremely user-friendly for our congregation.
Easy Tithe met our requirements for efficient implementation, cost effectiveness, and ease of use for our members.
We experienced no negative experiences during implementation; we have yet to identify characteristics that we do not like.

Again, functionality and versatile features are excellent as well as user interface experience. But the back side of administrating the batch reports is a hit or miss. It would be home run if EasyTithe was able to partner with Aplos cloud accounting software so my monthly reconciliations would be better streamlined.

Many of the issues I had prior to the system and user interface upgrade have been resolved. But one thing that has been a recurring issue has been the quality of batch deposit reports over the years. The changes in third-party provider has been frustrating in regards in reconciling donor contributions with the correct fund from the batch deposits posted on the bank side to the batch deposits recorded...

Easy to use, affordable
easy to use and affordable .......We went almost one year without any issues...it wasn't until we grew as a ministry and were using this program on a regular basis that we started seeing serious issues
I have had 1 major issue that only was taken care of where one of my donors were charged 8 times and I was unable to see the error on the platform so I had to call customer service 3 days later because of the weekend and holiday. Over 2 days, I waited on hold for 5 hours, finally I reached someone, they said it was only something they can see and then made it to where I could finally see the charges? I was finally able to refund the donor almost a week later. I am CURRENTLY ON HOLD NOW for another issue where money has been deducted out our account. These issues are problematic and if I can't get this issue rectified immediately, our church will have to find another company

I'd recommend EasyTithe in most cases. Their setup is quick, current pricing is reasonable and text message add-on costs less than $75 a year. As previously mentioned, if text donating ever is streamlined, this will be an unqualified 5 star organizational offering. Recommended today with upside potential for future version updates.
Easy Tithe is a service primarily focused on the solicitation, tracking and organization of donations to a church. Our church has about 100 families / giving circles with 250 or so parishioners in total. The set up process was smooth, quick and backed by excellent customer service and startup support. The dashboard is easy-to-use and intuitive. Even the forms, which can normally become a UI quagmire, are largely elegant and changed easily. Some of the screens have slight confusion, but nothing near the issues I've seen with other software solutions. Customer service is top notch. Communication is clear, concise and understandable without tech jargon. The fees are reasonable, although not always the lowest due to the current competitive marketplace for donation payments.
The user-friendliness, while good, isn't perfect. It is challenging to make a donation via text - if you try to give money, and let time lag between the request and clicking on a link (where you have to finalize the donation), it times out. Also, said link must be clicked twice - not a huge deal but could confuse older donators who then stop the donation thinking that something is wrong. For the same reason, I can't give 5 stars on user friendliness - instead of just typing in "$5" and offering a text-centric confirmation, donators have to go to a browser screen to finalize, which can be a bit of an inconvenience.

Program is simple to set up with many options. Cost is reasonable. Information for church launch is provided.
I am actually writing this review hoping to get attention to a customer issue. I contacted customer support 3 weeks ago and am still waiting for a resolution. I have actually only been responded to one time in which they said they were looking into the issue. Members are getting very irritated, I have communicated that to customer support, and that doesn't seem to speed anything along. Church members waiting 3 weeks for an answer to where their money is simply won't work. When there are no glitches, the product is convenient.

I am able to accept online and credit card donations and the donations are transferred directly into our account and recorded in the donors profile. I have been patient with the issues because I understand there are a lot of kinks to iron out when its a new thing, but for the price we pay, I hope the issues get cleared up quickly!!
I like to be able to have the contributions automatically put in the donors profile.
There is no batch for the online contributions and there is not the ability to transfer the deposits directly into the finance section, there have been some issues that I have called on and the customer service was unable to give me answers. Some of the tickets are unclear in their explanations and they do not make calls to discuss - would prefer the person that received my ticket, not just a random person.

The new generation wants to be able to give on line so that is now available to them at an affordable price for the church. The software is so user friendly and I like the ability to do my reports when needed. The apps are nice and the text giving is easy. The customer support has been absolutely fabulous to work with and have met all my needs.
The ease and use of the software is great. Many options, great resources, great bundle for the price. The customer service was so easy and friendly. Our new generation prefers easy and on line which all of the software, apps and website are super easy.
While I love having the ability to create the forms the way I need them to be, I do not like to create them.

The mediocre user interface.
Terrible customer service when asking for help resolving issues, always long waits when you call, and then they usually just say "open a support ticket." Support tickets take weeks to resolve. Their online portal is really dated. They also have their own expensive payment processing company, deceptively called "First Data Client." This is not First Data, it is an Easy Tithe owned merchant. I know...

I have had an overall positive experience with Easytithe. It was my first experience with digital giving and easy easy for our church to use.
Ease of use! This is a great product and solution for churches looking to transition to digital giving.
Limited in some of the features. Some of the other companies have more to offer, but with the price and feature combo, easytithe is a good solution.

The cost is among the lowest (not necessarily in monthly cost, but in transaction cost) and it does the basics well - gives your church members a place to give online. Functionality has slowly improved over time. The first generation of forms was downright maddening and the new generation of forms is much nicer. The mobile app is okay. Again, it does what it needs to do.

In the end, the cost savings weren't worth us staying with them. We switched our giving to Subsplash and haven't looked back. The cost is a bit more but completely justifiable.
Our church used this product for years. It is very low cost and is a great first step for those churches just beginning to accept text-to-give or digital payments.
We has accounting issues with this product that became repetitive. Our financial adviser often had to check behind them to insure accuracy. When the latest Apple iOS came out, EasyTithe had an issue and users weren't able to give. This was our last straw.

Easy Tithe allows a convenient way for others, mainly outside our community, to support our missionary family.
That I can find out from the deposit reports who contributed, when they contributed, when the deposit was made and the cost for the transactions.
That the report must be printed horizontally to fit on the paper and that it uses more space than needed on the paper.

We have made it easier to give to the general and special funds. We are hopeful that in the coming year that we will see an increase in the use of scheduled giving for our missions program.
We have found EasyTithe very easy to implement on our website. I cannot stress enough how simple it has been to set up the portal and get going with the service, literally within hours of signing on for the first time. We have had good response from our congregation and see a trend of growth in use of the service.
At this time we have had no real problem with the software. I believe our biggest challenge has been in integrating the information from the website into our existing record keeping. This is not a fault in the software. All the information we need is available. It has simply taken us a little time to figure out what information we need and how to access it when we need it.

We've enjoyed using EasyTithe overall. Our congregants have enjoyed the option of online giving and text giving. The convenience of monthly recurring giving has been a great added benefit to our members.
You can't beat EasyTithe's price point as far as percentages, and their feature list is impressive as well. Compared to other giving platforms, EasyTithe is very competitive.
Their forms and feel is not quite as slick and polished as some other providers, but the system is robust and again, bang for the buck is definitely there.

Easy to Use, Great Pricing, Reasonable Processing Fees, Recently expanded giving to allow for multiple funds to give to which is very helpful for our organization. Each experience with the Customer Service has been exceptional. They are still working out kinks in what they offer and are willing work around problems to make the program work best for our organization.
No complaints at this time that have not been resolved by the Customer Service Team.

Having other options for giving besides in-person is so important. The ease of use and the ability to make donations online and by mobile are the things I like most about this software. I feel like the cost is fair for the services we are receiving.
While there are web buttons for use, it is still hard to incorporate those unless you work with web developing and are familiar with it.

-Easy to implement immediately (no long onboarding process) -Gives our attendees an easy way to donate online via credit card -Once I learned the how to do the reports, it is very simple to run a report at the end of the month (or weekly/daily if you prefer) to see the amounts and donors. I did have some trouble figuring out the best way to do this but, but the customer service team was very helpful. -I'm not sure I would use this software for a large church, but for a small church (we have about 100 people weekly) it is straightforward and not too expensive.
-I don't like that there's a monthly charge as well as the small percentage charged from each donation. I would prefer that it was either one or the other, as it does make a difference in the amount donated vs. the amount actually received by the church. It is also not simple to see the total amount you are charged, as the percentages are taken throughout the month as opposed to a lump sum at the end of the month. It would be nice to have an invoice or statement to detail the charges.

It has been easy to use with low transaction fees based on our current usage. It has allowed us a method of member giving which is established in a fixed format to allow planning for income purposes.
It interfaces with our web site and allows our congregational members to establish regular giving options and which major accounts to place those contributions.
It does not interface with our ACS software system.

A good option for online giving at a reasonable cost.
We have been able to do custom forms to allow registration for events. They have kept the cost lower that similar software.
We have run into a glitch or two in the posting and timeliness of posting deposits. These have been quickly corrected and followed up on.

So far, I have found easyTithe to be user friendly and a good value. I have contacted customer service for assistance with a couple of issues/questions, and they were friendly and knowledgeable.
There really isn't anything that I dislike about this software. It is pretty easy to use.
