Descartes MacroPoint is a freight and logistics management software that helps businesses monitor location, track shipment details, temperature monitoring, and more from within a unified platform. It allows supervisors to generate carrier scorecards and generate custom reports to monitor key performing indicators (KPIs).
Descartes MacroPoint enables team members to automatically receive status update notifications upon shipment departure, pre-arrival, and arrival. It lets team leaders create custom geofence-based alerts and monitor the estimated time of arrival (ETA) in real-time. It also lets employees receive automated check calls alerts and conduct predictive analytics to mitigate overall supply chain risks.
Descartes MacroPoint allows businesses to integrate the platform with several third-party solutions, such as WolfByte, LoadBoard, BrokerPro, CloudLogistics, and more. The built-in search and filter functionality lets employees find shipments based on customer and shipment characteristics.
