Postmates is a cloud-based restaurant management software, which helps businesses connect with local customers, streamline order fulfilment, and manage deliveries. It allows users to create various promotions for the targeted audience and select the campaign’s duration and location as per requirements.
The application enables merchants to receive in-app notifications about incoming orders, adjust preparation time, raise issues, and print tickets for every order. The dashboard lets supervisors manage accounts, track orders and deposits, and update tax rates via a portal. With Postmates’ catalog manager module, owners can add, edit, or delete categories, add items along with images, and drag-and-drop items to rearrange catalog.
Its menu manager module allows restaurateurs to create timed availability options for specific items and build modifier sets for items such as sizes or toppings to create different choices for consumers. The Postmates pickup feature helps customers avoid waiting for queues and receive text messages when the order gets prepared. It also offers integration with third-party platforms Olo and Square.
