Pros
I love the flexibility of Airtable. If you’re familiar with Excel, you will feel right at home using this product — but Airtable really makes your data come alive. It turns your spreadsheet into a true database.

Cons
We are a small non-profit. While pricing for the basic version is very affordable, I wish there was a more economical way to add certain features.

Overall, we like Airtable because it gets the job done and there wasn't a huge learning curve but it's pricy.

Pros
Airtable is a great alternative to simply using Google sheets. There are a lot more functionalities.

Cons
Airtable is a bit expensive for what it is. We're trying to find something more affordable as Airtable's pricing is high for what it is.

Amazing Experience, clean UI and very fast and useful tool! Recommended for medium to large management companies!

Pros
The best part about this software is the way data can be presented. It is very much easy to use and anyone can get used to this tool within 3-4 days. Once you start using this tool it's really tough to switch.

Cons
The pricing is high and it's not affordable for everyone. But if you have large projects to work on, affordability should not be an issue!

Amazing, I do recommend this tool to anyone looking to create a log, tracker or even database, it is light, fast and really well-priced, just make sure it does what you need before you go paid service on it.

Pros
This is a great tool to keep track of any kinds of logs, even accounting if you would, the greatest part of it is how easy it is to use and how you can do multi-platform integrations to make it your database master software. I love the low price-point and the amazing customer service they have, by far one f the most powerful low-cost database/spreadsheet tool out there.

Cons
Not really a con, but I would like to point out for those who use a lot of formula-based fields, the coding/formula platform on Airtable is not really the best, it is a little clunky and you really cannot get as much out of it as in some cases you would expect, but it is reasonably good nonetheless.

Pros
I love that you can have many formats to manage projects: lists, boards, anything you like. This makes it handy because different projects require different ways of management. Creative projects could use the more visual boards, while tech projects could stick to the list boards. Our project management definitely improved after using this!

Cons
It does get pricey pretty quick. For a big team the monthly cost skyrockets fast! Wish they had a cheaper option, because we have to now consolidate to one account.

AirTable is a great tool to streamline operations

Used daily for 1-2 years
Reviewed 2020-03-16
Review Source: Capterra

AirTable has been a great tool for our business, allowing different departments to improve their processes and save development resources.

Pros
AirTable is very easy to learn and provides significant low-code functionality that can streamline operations and create efficiencies across all departments. AirTable is also a great way to analyze, visualize and mobilize data, with the ability to integrate to other systems. The Blocks feature add lots of use cases, and allowed us to utilize AirTable in all departments, and even to program our products.

Cons
There are data restrictions on AirTable, and any of their "tables" can only hold 100,000 records at most. This presented some challenges for us since we had materially more records that needed tracking and mobilization. Also, it's not cheap.

I enjoy the ability to collaborate and the extremely low price point. Extremely reasonable where other products I use run in the thousands this is so much more affordable. Customer service is really good when I have questions. Other thing I like is at events we have breakout sessions and Airtable allows me to organize time slots and locations and share with others so events move smoothly minute by minute.

Cons
I would like email confirmations and calendar reminders to become features offered. That way, I can discontinue using other software to support these functions.

Great, most of the time

Airtable works well for what it is, but we're slowly losing value in it. The plans we have are discounted at $12 each, and prove to be an incredibly expensive solution for something that the user has to create and manage. My employee management app is less than $2 per employee with no contract and pro-rates employees that are hired or let go. Airtable is a fixed charge of $12 each, and we're now having to consider switching to an entirely different platform based on the price per employee value we're receiving.

Pros
Airtable is a mobile friendly-ish solution that presents itself similar to Excel while remaining very different. The ability to create and change up the appearance of workspaces is great, but many features or bugs are lacking.

Cons
There are a number of critical failure points that we deal with daily, the top two would probably be the inability to hide fields on mobile devices, and the inability to have multiple bases communicate with each other. The hiding ability exists on a desktop or PC platform, but simply doesn't work on mobile. For our team, mobile is required, and the hardest part about training new hires is to ignore fields that should be hidden but are not due to how the application is designed.

While I use another product most of the time (and I'm even moving from that to an offline software) I have to admit Airtable is a masterpiece. In the still immature world of the "spreadsheet databases" its quality and elegance gives it the market share it has. Since I use these tools mostly for my personal needs, I'm discovering that tradicional desktop softwares have many advantages. Yet, for larger, multi-user scenarios, Airtable is a mandatory candidate.

Pros
* Very easy to use. * Has many templates. * Really beautiful, its design is remarkable. * Many, many features.

Cons
* There are cheaper alternatives. If you use spreadsheets, you may wonder if it is worth it pay for that. * Remarkably resource-intensive in the client side.

A Powerful Alternative to Google Sheets

Pros
Our team uses Airtable to set up quick surveys and manage long-term projects. While it's not cheap, we definitely see the value in Airtable. While Google Sheets is useful, it simply does not match the tools provided by Airtable—from blocks, to conditionals, to the customizability of the interface. This one tool provides unlimited possibilities and enables our team to efficiently carry out asks without having to use a dozen different tools.

Cons
Airtable's free plans are understandably restrictive, but provide all the basic tools. While we were using the free plan, I disliked how many of their own templates required paid plans to use certain features.

A Terrific, Easy to Use, Customizable Online Database

Review Source: Capterra

We originally approached Airtable as a possible low-cost solution for our CRM needs. I loved the customizatibility, the colorful, easy-to-use interface, the library of templates and the integrations with MailChimp and Zapier. Ultimately, Airtable ended up not being able to easily accomadate some CRM features we needed, like lead-scoring and in-program communication with 1-to-1 email and SMS, although I think with some ingenuity and extended Zapier integration, we may even have been able to achieve that. We also found it difficult to design the kind of comprehensive reporting we need for analysis. We continue to use Airtable for simpler database needs, and it's a pleasure to work in. If you're looking for a database application, you owe it to yourself to at least give Airtable a try.

Pros

Cons

Blocks are still few but also easy to use and powerful and looking forward to new ones in the future.
