What is Binfire?

Binfire is an online project management and collaboration application for distributed teams. It helps virtual teams to plan, track and coordinate several projects at one time using a common workspace. Binfire brings all tools needed by teams in one place so all tasks, discussions, comments and files associated with the project are accessible in one easy to use application. This creates a virtual office space which enhances communication and collaboration in the team.

<strong>Task Management-</strong> Binfire provides tasks, sub-tasks and dependencies for managing tasks. Files associated with a task could be attached to the task and each task could have several tags for easier sorting and to set priorities. Binfire allows task reordering, 6 level deep subtasks and milestones. In addition tasks could be copies or moved from one project to another or one workspace to another. This enables a project manager to create a project templates and use it for similar projects in the future. The task page includes a search tools that makes it much easier to find tasks based on user, status, name or tags.

<strong>Interactive Gantt Chart-</strong> Binfire provides interactive Gantt chart which show the status of the project graphically and lets the suer make changes right from the Gantt chart. The Gantt is updated in real time for all viewers so all changes are available to all team members in real time.

<strong>Member dashboard-</strong> This user dashboard displays what each member needs to work on for any given day, warns of late tasks and shows tasks are due shortly

<strong>Project dashboard-</strong> The Project dashboard displays all important information about the project in one easy to follow page.

<strong>Project Folder-</strong> Project files are stored in the project folder, file version and file history are available at all time.

<strong>Status reporting-</strong> Status reporting using internal secure twitter messaging system which allows commenting and attaching of files.

<strong>Interactive Whiteboard-</strong> The interactive whiteboard allows your team to brain storm on new ideas or tackle new challenges regardless of where they are.

<strong>Collaborative PDF markup-</strong> You can review, comment and markup PDF documents collaboratively with your team.

<strong>Group Chat-</strong> Binfire application has an embedded group chat tool in all pages. You can chat to one or all your project members in real time. Chat history is available to all project members.

<strong>Permissions-</strong> You can give members of your team, contractors and visitors different permission levels. You can block Binfire pages from some users, give others only read permission or give them full access.

<strong>Object staring-</strong> If there is a task or a file that you want to follow, just star it. From then on, any changes to the object is reported to you via email plus internal messaging in the dashboard.

<strong>Tagging-</strong> All objects in Binfire could be tagged. This makes fining tasks or files based on their attributes much easier.
