We have been using SO many different software products to manage our agency. One tool for project management, one tool for processes, one tool for training, another tool for collaboration, another tool for file storage... and then, of course, Google Drive, Google Docs, Slack, and so many others. SmartSuite is literally everything in one place. I can't wait to get everything fully loaded in SmartSuite so we can save money by canceling/consolidating many of those other products.
I love how intuitive SmartSuite is from the moment you log in. It's easy to navigate and the templates really made it simple to quickly realize all the potential ways to utilize the software. I love how easy it is to see progress on a project at any point, and how all files, communication and calendar are tied in within the task. So insanely simple but there is so much you can do.
There isn't anything that I've found that I don't like so far.

There aren't enough stars to give or great things to say about Smart Suite. When you think of a Software company or any company in general and all the things it should have, like customer service, capability, responsiveness, innovation, experience, great pricing, excitement for the future, talented leadership. Smart Suite has it all
So as someone that has built a software company in the past I am beyond impressed with how well everything works and how many options there truly are while maintaining simplicity. I originally was looking for something like asana to manage some internal + external client processes. Asanas Support was terrible and Smart Suite first got me with their customer service and onboarding. I was in touch with everyone I needed to be in real time and I wasn't sent one automated email telling me to watch a library of videos to find an answer that may not even be there. The ability to learn about the software allowed me to not only do what I needed better, but build a scalable marketing software that I could license to other companies. And the ideas that expand our vision for the company roll in daily. The price for scaling is incredible. There isn't a single aspect of this company that I am not beyond impressed with.
Really I can't think of any besides they are a young company. Young as in this software, but not in experience. It is VERY obvious they have software experience, A highly capable team on front end and back end, as well as funding. I actually love being on the ground floor of a product that I know is going to be so disruptive in the industry.

Our team uses SmarSuite to manage project tasks. We create tasks, assign them to team members, add statuses, add links, images, descriptions, and more. The tool helps to see the overall progress of the project and tasks in general.
Easy to create the necessary data, tables, lists, and graphs. SmartSuite helps to fully and effectively plan, implement and close projects. Also from the pros: Compilation of task reports; Possibility to create an infinite number of tasks; Beautiful and clear interface (in my opinion); The ability to change the color to any solution;
Since the tool is quite large and multifunctional, at first glance it may seem complicated. But if you spend a little time studying it, you can see all its great features and functionality.

For creative firms, I like to use SmartSuite along with Milanote. The ability to create a dashboard view of the Milanote page within a solution means that all of the information for a task is at our fingertips. While we use Milanot for creative planning, SmartSuite is literally everything else in our business!
With SmartSuite I was finally able to find a solution that kept information visually accessible, and it links data across multiple solutions keeping information accurate. My team loves it too so team adoption was easy.
The two things I miss most about previous platforms is gantt charts and the Chrome/Gmail integrated ability to turn websites and emails into records in any solution with ease.

It has become our one go-to source of truth for the full client journey (sales process / CRM) over client onboarding and day-to-day project management. We built several bridges to other tools to use the connectors for process automation and can for sure say this is a big time saver. In addition the set-up has been a core project of living our value of transparency with real-time info for all employees.
- Variety of functions - general navigation and ease of use - amount of field type and permission control flexibility and customization
One limitation we ran into is the formula spectrum which is smaller than Excel/Sheets which can be a need for workaround in some perspectives.
