What is Tom's Planner?
Tom's Planner is a web-based Gantt chart solution designed to help teams of all sizes plan projects. Users have the ability to create, collaborate, or share Gantt charts using the drag & drop interface. Additional features include color-coded time blocks, task dependencies, search/quick-filter, resource management, a template library, flexible progress tracking (e.g. icons, traffic lights), and dynamic project overviews, which gives managers the ability to view yearly schedules or schedules on a granular level.
For efficient set up, projects can be imported from Excel, Trello, Basecamp, or Microsoft Project, if they already exist outside of the platform. Teams can also customize the branding of the user interface by uploading their organization's logo. Tom's Planner allows charts to be embedded on third-party sitessuch as Wordpress, Confluence, and SharePoint, where external stakeholders can view the status of projects. Guest access is also available, along with the ability to download and save sensitive project plans to personal computers.
