Social Taste allows restaurants and other food delivery services to receive orders from their website, Facebook page, or mobile app. Website ordering is facilitated simply by embedding a few lines of pre-written code into the business web page and, for users who don’t have a website, Social Taste can build one. Facebook can also be integrated with Social Taste in order to allow customers to view products and make orders directly through the business Facebook page. The platform also provides the tools to create a custom branded, native mobile app which can be made available on the Android and iOS mobile app stores and integrates completely with the Social Taste solution for managing orders. The native apps act as a self service portal for customers to view menus, make orders, view order history, make payments, and receive push notifications of order updates.
The ordering module within Social Taste facilitates the management of orders as they come in in real time, with features such as a kill-switch to stop incoming orders in the case of an emergency, availability indicators, geographic maps for delivery addresses, notifications for unopened orders, receipt printing, and more. Tasks such as business analysis, product management, ingredient management, menu creation, offer implementation, working hours scheduling, categorization, delivery area settings, and more, can all be managed within the admin module.
