Pros
The excellent customer support with a whole arsenal of video tutorials. Great Corporate logos and print designs for advertisement, brochures and personal cards are just great.
It's intuitive and robust. The user community is brilliant and they have built great plugins, brushes, templates and other tools to help you achieve your goals.
Overall my experience with photoshop has been great. I would definitely recommend it, and the fact that it comes with the tool suite subscription makes it worth the cost.
Cons
Sometimes I dislike that there are just SO many tools that it is hard to learn them all. A class would probably do wonders for someone looking to be versatile in the program.
It delays work and make you feel uncomfortable, especially when you don't know where to do it settings.
Photoshop is hard to master, with all of the intricacies contained in one program.

Edit the image however you want - whether at work or for fun

Reviewed a year ago

Within our organization, thanks to photoshop, we do not have to hire an external marketing organization. We will prepare all advertising materials ourselves. There are a lot of pictures in our catalogs, again thanks to the photoshop we will adapt all the pictures to the required size and format.

Pros

Whether you need to remove Grandma's wart from her face, or you need to paint your grandfather's more thick beard, it's up to you and your imagination to create everything with Photoshop. What I like most about Photoshop is that nothing is a limit for you and everything is just a matter of imagination. You can create whatever you can think of.

Cons

There is nothing I would not be happy with in Photoshop. Some tools, such as auto-cropping images to erase the background, aren't 100% complete, but it's still better than most other tools.

My Favorite graphic design and image editing software

Reviewed a year ago

I use Photoshop to make graphics for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, website design, business cards, t-shirts and more. Almost any visual creation that my business requires is made by me in Photoshop. I also still do some freelance designing, and photoshop is always my go-to. It's reliable, powerful, technical and feature-rich. The only reason I would not recommend it as a first choice to most people is because most people are looking for an easier to use solution like Canva.

Pros

I love that photoshop is accessible at $9.99 per month with lightroom and storage as a part of the package. I love the endless tools and various ways to combine them to create masterpieces. Photoshop gives the user complete control over their artwork, as opposed to say, a Canva. Photoshop is definitely for professionals who want full technical control over their work.

Cons

What I like least is that the only option for integrated cloud storage is Adobe's Creative Cloud. Having the ability to save directly to Google Drive - or any other major cloud platform would be an invaluable timesaver and productivity booster.

Great! But Slow!

Reviewed a month ago

The overall experience is quite good, but the slowness and bloat of the program can surely be felt.

Pros

Adobe Photoshop is a sophisticated image editing program that has become a must-have for photographers, designers, and artists alike. Its extensive set of tools and capabilities enables users to modify photographs in practically endless ways, from color and exposure adjustments to retouching and compositing. The program's user-friendly design makes it simple to learn, and the abundant online resources mean that users can easily find solutions to any issues they may have.

Cons

The sole disadvantage of Adobe Photoshop is that it can be sluggish at times when dealing with huge files or sophisticated modifications. However, this is a minor price to pay given the great capability provided by the program. Overall, I would strongly advise anyone searching for a robust and diverse picture editing application to use Adobe Photoshop.

It consistently hangs and you lose your work

Reviewed 9 months ago

It reminds me of that Guns n' Roses song: "Used To Love Her".

Pros

It used to be a stable software product. I used it a -lot- for cleaning up images, editing images for product reviews, etc. It was an every day tool. Those were the days. It was so good that I still launch it every now and then to see is I can get something done before it freezes. Sometimes it even works out - like when I can use magic wand to select the background, make it transparent, then save the image fast before the program hangs.

Cons

It freezes. Usually it freezes during the first or second editing operation. I have uninstalled and reinstalled dozens of times. I've tried different versions. For a while, an old version was OK, then it seemed to loose compatibility with the libraries or something in the rest of Adobe creative suite. Now it freezes too. I've gone through as much of the online help as I could find to see if anything would help. Nope. For the past year, maybe year and a half, this has not been a stable program. That makes it pretty useless. I live in dread of when Adobe breaks more of the programs in its creative suite. I guess I should be planning for that now. I so very much love InDesign, but I know they will make it unusable eventually.

The king of design software

Reviewed 3 months ago

While there is definitely a learning curve when it comes to mastering the software, the end results are well worth the effort. Photoshop is an incredibly versatile tool that can be used for everything from basic photo editing to professional graphic design, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to take their digital art and design skills to the next level.

Pros

Photoshop is incredibly powerful, and it can be used for everything from simple photo editing to complex graphic design projects. The ability to work with layers and masks, adjust colors and contrast, and add filters and effects really allows you to fine-tune your images and create stunning visuals.

Cons

I like least about Photoshop is that it can be a bit overwhelming for new users. There are so many tools and features available that it can take some time to learn how to use them all effectively. Additionally, the software can be quite expensive, which can be a barrier for some users.
