Amplience overview

What is Amplience?

Amplience is a cloud-native, SaaS headless CMS, enterprise digital asset management (DAM), and agentic AI platform designed for enterprise retail and ecommerce organizations. Hosted on AWS and available via AWS Marketplace, it delivers an API-first, MACH-certified composable architecture that connects to any frontend, storefront, app, or channel. Core modules include Dynamic Content (structured content authoring with visual previews, scheduling, and multi-channel publishing), Content Hub (centralized DAM with AI-powered tagging, image transformation, video captioning, and localization controls), Dynamic Media (real-time image and video optimization and delivery), and Workforce (trigger-based agentic AI for automated content production). Each module can be licensed independently or deployed as a unified suite.

Amplience targets enterprise retailers, global ecommerce operators, luxury brands, and specialty retailers operating across multiple regions, languages, and channels. The platform centralizes content and digital assets to eliminate siloed systems and version control issues, and supports omnichannel publishing across storefronts, apps, email, in-store displays, and social commerce from a single content item. Governance controls include brand voice enforcement, approval workflows, and audit trails. Localization is supported across multiple languages and markets from a single content item. Pricing is visit-based with no API consumption caps, and AWS credits are supported for Marketplace purchases.

The Workforce agentic AI engine uses trigger-based agents that act autonomously on events such as new product additions, automatically drafting copy, extracting product specs, tagging DAM assets, formatting layouts, and generating localized content variants. Agents are trained on brand voice and governed by configurable confidence thresholds; high-risk tasks are routed to human reviewers before publishing, and automated scanners check generated content for prohibited terms prior to review. AI capabilities across the platform also include automatic object, face, and text recognition for asset search; focal point and hotspot detection for smart cropping; AI background removal; AI-generated video captions with multi-language support; and on-demand generation of product descriptions, titles, SEO copy, and audience- or locale-specific content variants. The platform integrates with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, commercetools, SAP Commerce Cloud, Shopify, and BigCommerce via APIs and webhooks.
