Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Mavlon overview
What is Mavlon?
Mavlon is a cloud-based AI drawing intelligence platform built for precision manufacturers, aerospace subcontractors, tier-1 automotive integrators, structural profile manufacturers, and system integrators. It reads 2D PDF technical drawings — part prints, plant layouts, body-in-white lines, and structural profiles — via a browser-based interface with no software installation required. Using OCR and AI, it detects and extracts every dimension, GD&T callout, tolerance, fit class, surface finish, thread, and general note, then places numbered balloons on each feature automatically.
Extracted data drives three primary outputs: a pre-populated AS9102 Form 3 (Characteristic Accountability) complete with tolerances, datum references, designators, and inspection methods; a manufacturing risk report flagging tight tolerances, hard materials, deep bores, thin walls, and datum accessibility issues; and a set of intelligent clarification questions generated from drawing ambiguities such as missing datums or unclear surface finish callouts. Mavlon applies ISO 2768mk blanket tolerances by size range, expands ISO 286 fit classes to actual upper and lower limits, and interprets Boeing-specific general tolerance notes (Note 8N, Note 9N, classified hole systems) mapped to individual features. Multi-sheet drawings across ISO, ASME, and Boeing PVS standards are supported.
For RFQ processing, Mavlon injects drawing specs into cost-calculation Excel templates and surfaces historical pricing, feasibility data, and supplier patterns automatically on new submissions. Every processed drawing is added to a searchable institutional drawing memory that recognizes part families, tolerancing patterns, and recurring material specs — exclusive to each customer's operation and compounding in value over time. Additional integrations include CMM, PPAP support, PLM, QMS, ERP systems, and custom FAI format exports. Plant and line-layout drawings are read station by station for feasibility and quoting. Pricing scales per drawing volume and operation size rather than fixed seat count.
