WOW, all that I can say is that probably this is the most important software to make blueprints in the world.
The biggest disadvantage of AutoCAD is that it comes with a lot of problems, which is to be expected from a tool that can do so much. It seems reasonable to me.
The AutoCAD is very good to be used for many industries like construction and industrial / manufacturing process as well, good for beginners and professional level as well.
Sometimes the user interface becomes annoying, file can get very big and may crash the computer, drawings can get corrupt.
I use this program all of the time because their Features are awesome powerful tool and easy for professional and beginners.
It is frustrating when in the AutoCAD updates over the years that the interface has changed so much that it makes it hard to adjust and find things.
Excellent for architects and engineers, all functions and tools are easy to use, and have an excellent cost benefit.
The 3d is terrible and right now the 3d is absolutely need for design.
It is the most accessible CAD software to date with lots of documentation and a great and responsive community. Very user friendly and a well designed interface.
I have been using AutoCAD (Mostly 2D) for almost 9 years now and I found it very useful, easy to use, and great platform for drafting anything you like.
It was one and still is the best Architectural software they was and will every be. I remember how easy it was to make designs and configure settings to my liking.
Great software with a great user interface that has a ton of functionality to it.
Firstly, I like all the features in AutoCAD which make the software one of the best in engineering designs. Also, it is not complected and that make the software easy to use for any user.
I love the shortcut keys for various tools, it makes the job a lot quicker. As a Mechanical Engineer , I really love spending time with different drawings in this cool software.
Overall, I think AutoCAD has been a great addition to our company. We needed a 3D drawing tool and even with the price, I believe AutoCAD was the best software for us.
I love how easily other pieces of software can integrate with it and how you can produce quality looking technical drawings within a relatively short time-span.
This is also backed up by AutoDesk's excellent customer service and a very large catalogue of training documentation and tutorials online.
The software keeps improving with update and the integration with other software as well as the online version gives me interest working experience.

The scenes feature is great for architectural presentations and paired with a rendering software like Enscape or Lumion it works like magic. Also workshop and all the add-ons are amazing.
It's not discovered yet by me what is most disappointed about this product because all I needed to switch to this software is inbuilt within and therefore can't say I'm disappointed in using it.
Easy to use, with a friendly layout and intuitive commands. Reliable and trustable software for all kind of projects.
The only real issue I had with Sketchup was the lack of stp export options. This made it unusable when working with overseas manufacturing vendors.
And even the software went through different owner companies, the product is still here, amazing, easy, and stay affordable. Keep going this way please.
It causes hours of wasted work to fix and that is time and money. It also affects business by not being able to deliver a serviceable idea to the clients.
Great software, geolocation feature is great. Easy to create a rough sketch of the work for easy visualization.
Poor product that crashes and freezes, no ability to contact customer support, no refunds.
I like that you can get a design from other creators and use it for my projects. It really helps a lot in improving my designs.
I am completely satisfied with the experience I have had with Sketchup, it makes my job a lot easier and even fun to use.
This software is the best one as far as i know. It's very easy to use on modeling and the i mostly like the the model percision inside.
Great work environment, tabs and tools that are easy to access, simple and intuitive, proving to be effective and allowing the addition of new tools and plugins that streamline my work.
Easily the best feature about the software is the online support. The walkthroughs make picking up SketchUp a breeze and after a few lessons I had a solid grasp on the fundamentals of the program.
This program is a great tool to have under your belt. It helps explain ideas in 3d and makes it easy to start a concept without using over priced software.
There are plenty of video tutorials and customer support is great. It is easy to use and the designs can be attached in professional documents.
Overall, the functionalities are great and the price is just right for it.
The ability to rapidly produce models for study, and the extensive palette of tools provides the ability to enhance basic models to presentation-quality products.
Very easy to setup and free for schools. There is now a web based version optimized for Google Chrome browser and integrates with Gsuite.

Overall, I'm extremely happy and I love all the growth and opportunities to tie my website in with the profile, the 3-D, rendering options, and all the bells and whistles that you provide.
Being directly connected to a potential client by a computer on the phone, when they have no idea who you are or why your are calling at what is usually an inconvenient time for them.
The messaging features and leads features are very helpful, and I like the concierge. I haven't used the estimate feature because we have our own system for that, but I like that it exists.
I have had a few spam encounters recently and the # of leads I receive has dropped.
The ease of use of the product is certainly there and integration with the business model was easy. The client success manager that we are assigned is amazing.
But the automatic responses are irritating as they continue to ask you to respond when that's already be done. The program doesn't follow through as you move through the process.
Honestly, working with Houzz has been a great experience. Everything is user friendly, our rep is great and the advertising aspect can't be matched.
They demand we get onto a call for every simple issue and are incapable of doing the most basic work in a timely or efficient manner.
I am impressed with the ability to create floor plans in Houzz Pro and will play around with it more when I get some more help in the office.
Very well designed online platform that is reliable, fun, interactive, affordable and of high quality.
Our customer service rep has been pretty excellent, which has probably been the best part.
Houzz has been a pleasure to work with, great customer service and brand exposure. Highly recommend Houzz Pro as a platform for anyone looking to build/ renovate.
I am not one to be afraid to click buttons and try to figure things out for myself, but when that approach has been less that successful, the support staff and account managers have been amazing.
I like all of the information that is available and it is quick to find and easy to ease.
I really like the user friendliness and ease of use for myself and leads as well.
I recommend this platform to any business that is keen to grow and streamline its processes. It’s definitely worth the investment and I couldn’t be happier at Blakes Of Sydney as a Houzz Pro user.
When I start seeing some ROI (return on investment) - as in paying clients - I might become your greatest fan.

With great Autodesk help support and an active online community, you can always find solutions to any issue you may have. I have been recommending Revit to colleagues every chance I get.
I hate the way the walls should be painted, the lack of compatibility between the various versions of the program, and how long it takes to do a single project.
The product offers high quality 3D views of any structure and is fantastic for coordinating with other divisions of engineering in a construction project.
I also think their error messages are not detailed enough. It makes it hard for you to know what the actual issue is, just that something went wrong, or something was deleted for no reason.
It is a great software for modeling of construction to help us to save time and money modeling your projects3.
Partly because the BIM competition is still weak and partly because now we have invested so much time that it would be hard to recreate all this experience again.
Revit is an awesome software, and great for connecting to clients who aren't very "visual" people and can't read 2D drawings.
So that if you have older version computer, you may feel uncomfortable sometimes.
Its ease of use and versatility makes it a great BIM software for many engineering and architecture companies. Unlike AutoCAD, I think Revit is easier to understand, to navigate, and to adopt.
The best advantage provided by Revit program is the coordination between multiple people working on the same project so several discipline can collaborate easily.
Program allows students to learn basics (and more) of architectural design. Some more expansive tutorials would be nice as only beginner workflow has really proven useful for students.
I love more about Revit that you can share your project wiht anyone in everywhere. And everybody can work the same project, in diferents part of it, in the same time.
Revit helps me to draw 3D visualized models of house plans. Specially for civil engineers, this software is one of the best visualizing software which can freely downloaded form internet.
Revit is also backed up by AutoDesk's usually excellent customer service and licencing options.
Overall I hightly recommend to purchase revit if u are in construction business. This software is cost effective and less time consuming interms of creating 3d models.
Loved working with Revit, very easy to use, and time flies when using this software.
Seamless integration with other Autodesk solutions (NavisWorsk, Robot .. etc.). Plenty of training resources online.
They keep releasing new updates and features every year and with its open api, we are able to create many useful plugins.

Now with this, I don't need to see him anymore. LOVE LOVE LOVE the ease of use, accuracy, quick turnaround and the various formats provided.
If I have to pick something I don't like it's that sometimes the app says I'm too close to objects and to move back but I'll be stuck in a small bathroom or hallway, and I don't have anywhere to go.
I am very impressed by the ease and quality of using the product and the customer service is equally impressive.
The floor plan is hard to read because of the font size.
The app is very easy to use, they have great instructions on usage and how to get help. If you do have questions or need help the customer service is outstanding.
Not sure if this can be done by submitting a fix or not.
Love the ease of use and the quick turn around. If I have any issues, the tech support is great.
I do not service the GLA market, so can't speak for those requirements.
Using this has opened a new door for my business to make a profit. Realtors love floor plans as an easy add-on, and they really like the designs that CubiCasa offers.
Easy to use and floorplans come out great. Customer service is also great and prompt to answer any questions.
So easy to use and time saving, great up selling item. Most of my clients need floor plan so it is a great tool to have, also fairly accurate.
Furthermore, the software is very stable and reliable.
Great value, user-friendly, responsive customer service.
CubiCasa adds real value to my business by saving me time and money, and my customers will benefit from the additional marketing advantage this floorplan offers.
It was accurate as I had taped the home when I bought it. Impressive operation to me.
It's the best and easiest to use floor plan app that I've ever tried. It saves me hours and helps me make more money.

The help line and over the phone knowledge of the tech support is second to none. These guys are so helpful and nothing is a issue to them, the best software I have used for years.
The biggest problem I have with the software is that it creates progressing errors in measurements when you do some of the more advanced moves.
This is unusual; I know of nothing like it. I'm pretty enthusiastic about it, as you should be able to tell.
Some hiccups from the last update that are a bit annoying.
Great software, one of the best after sales service I have ever come across, very friendly support staff, couldn't ask for anymore help on issues, and they are usually, user error.
A diverse comparison perhaps but whether it be cars or drafting software - it is a dubious exercise to make direct comparisons I have found.
I do believe it shortens the approval cycle. Also, it's just fun to use.
Problems setting up dwg/dxf imported drawings - setting size and scale. Tools do not stay for repeat use.
This simple drafting and floor-plan design app is perfect for small jobs. The page layout and tools are done very well, and it makes this software very user friendly, and easy to use.
With a little practice, an amateur like me can create very precise drawings and designs, and do so rapidly. Printouts are clean and accurate.
I've always appreciated its intuitive nature, much like Macintosh computers. Although, Macs aren't quite as intuitive as they used to be, but there you are, what can be done, time marches on).
MacDraft allows me that ability and a fair price.
Very easy and practical. Only use 50% of its ability.
It is relatively easy to use MacDraft Professional, though users will benefit from some familiarity with basic CAD principles. Navigation, drawing, and other features are intuitive.
I found that MacDraft Professional 7, although it was more expensive than what I had in mind, was so full-featured that it was worth the money.
It still works Intuitively. Things like duplicate with smart repeated placement and spacing along a line just WOWs PC world ers.
MacDraft Pro 7 continues to allow my to design whole house solutions from remodeling to decorating.
Still find it useful even though I made the transition to 3D. Maybe future releases could offer integration with 3D programs like SketchUp.

Pros and Cons from ArcSite users

Also the ability to display exact measurements and dimensions. Super helpful when needing something on the spot when talking with clients or coming up with a project scope.
It also tends to lag pretty badly when drawings become complex. It is also very difficult to draw an accurate ellipse, which is something I really need to be able to do.
The ability to draw simple floor plans was great. It was easy to do, and for the most part, had the shapes I needed.
My only complaint is that you cant used on the PC to Draw when I'm in the office.
ArcSite is working seamlessly on our iPads and the company was great to provide training immediately after our purchase.
Inability to write DWG files directly into ArcSite.
Software is great, easy to use and perfect for onsite drawing of floor plans, etc.
I have found that the blocks must be scaled constantly and do not populate at the scale they were drawn in.
I would highly recommend to any contractor that needs to make there own simple designs that want them to look better than graph paper sketches.
Being able to draw this in real time helps me when i am talking with customers regarding projects and what we can accomplish.
ArcSite handles PDF mobile cad drawings possible in an elegant manner. The tool makes possible creation, editing, redlining of CAD quality drawings and integrates photos in an exceptional manner.
I like how intuitive it is and simple to use and understand. I never got any formal training on how to learn the software since it was so easy to use.
This has definitely saved money and increased efficiency for us.
Quick and easy to master, great customer support.
It intuitively feels like designing from a blank sheet of paper but with features that allow you to quickly change and revise on the fly.
ArcSite has been my main app for staircase take off and will remain so. Customer service is more than helpful and provides great support.
While I would recommend ArcSite for someone in construction to try, I don't know if it is the best tool for planners and I'm not sure if I would renew my subscription.
Primarily, I use it to map monuments in need of restoration or cleaning, as well as for landscaping issues and concerns. It is easy to upload the maps I need as base templates.
