A wide choice of scraping tools from a wide choice of developpers. Really helpful for my work of data analysis. Developpers offer a lot of tools for almost everything you need to analyze.

Some tools are way too expensive but developers are the ones to blame. I guess it depends on the layer of depth you need for your scraping tool.

Can't say that I have anything negative to say do far. If I need to add one, that would be price. I have no direct comparison as I have not tested any alternatives. And since I have no time to search for alternative solutions (dissertation deadline fast approaching) and I am happy with this one so far - I will go with it. During my Apify tour, Cait did suggest that students can apply for Student discount. I wish I had known / applied for it before I had moved on to Starter plan. As a student, I am paying for everything by myself and I can already say that I will need to spend $200+ to get the data that I need.

The best feature on apify is their own free web scraping. They provide a variety of ready-made common web scraping tasks such as reviews and posts from familiar websites.

My organisation and I have nothing to dislike about apify but their pricing is very unfair from them,they have no clear billing as far as we are concerned .Also their customer care support is a worst nightmare from them Overall;

Easy adjusting Apify functions for better and effective quality services generation and the multiple Websites data extraction and excellent mapping capability provided by Apify are profitable.The platform still allows secure data verification and the analytical options and data visualization using Apify features is cost effective.

Nice and easy multiple projects data migration tool which on my first time was easy and nothing for me to dislike from all Apify features.

We like scaling, easy to use solution and completely outsourced infrastructure.

Pricing plan could be better. Team plan is a huge step in comparison with personal plan. I would prefer a middle small team plan between them.

Apify provides me the best output when I compare to other companies. Their support is fantastic and whenever I need something related to automation or data-wise, this is the first place that I find myself in. I hope they'll continue the way they are going in.

It is a bit technical but that makes it more usable on the low level. I really like the product no matter what.

My favorite feature about Apify is that it is modular and offers the ability to crawl data from popular social media sites.

Some actors are a little too expensive. Other than that, there is nothing else I don't like.

Requires users to be fairly technically savvy to get the most value.

- Powerful data extraction - Scalable infrastructure - Scheduling & feature rich

- Customer support is worst nightmare with them - Pricing is unfair (They even don't have clarification on how you billed certain amount) - It has bugs which are lasting months even after reporting. Actor gets stuck forever causing you billing - Reporting is not integrated part of dashboard

I can easily, quickly and cheaply scrape the web for marketing emails. Its so good I cannot believe how good it is. I would recommend it to anyone without hesitation.

There isn't anything I dislike about Apify.

I use Apify's Web Scrapers almost daily. It saves me a lot of time as I don't have to manually copy paste information I need for my work. I like simplicity of it and that it JUST works. I tried different web scrapers before but they were buggy and always had some issues.

No cons I can think of, support is timely and very helpful, I feel appreciated as a customer.

Apify is easy to understand, easy to use and integrates well with my cloud solution (Google Sheets and Google Apps Script). I also think the marketplace is fantastic, they just would need some more control over the apps (i.e. free actors should be fully open-source, so the APIFY team could update these when fixing the issues reported). Maybe those have free license already, but the APIFY team has no extensive resources to maintain all these apps. I really love the marketplace idea, people can share knowledge easily, and I can do a scraping job very easily with no coding at all.

Pricing - although I like the $5/month credit for beginners, there should be a price range of $10-$15/month for those who need relatively less amounts of data for their private / non-profit / educational use or are not building a service they would sell on.

Apify's web scrapers have made it easy not just to pull down data from many of the sources I care about, but also to do so in a very affordable manner. Its proxies are also more reliable than other platforms I've used, which makes me more confident that I can get at the data I need, when I need it.

I know there is more I could be getting out of the platform in terms of customization, but I would need to brush up on my JSON to do so.

Customer service is excellent - Apify is always quick to respond and happy to help with queries.

The last time I checked, there were no existing actors which allowed me to scrape content published by brands on LinkedIn. For this process I used PhantomBuster instead.

Apify as a platform has a great potential to help you with the queries I needed it for. The setup of the platform is lovely and works really easily. Great platform to suggest to others as it is easy to use and offers a great way to set up and run your actors. I believe that on the topic of marketing the platform a lot can be won, since there is a great potential that a lot more people in the world should know about. I used only one feature, but there is a lot more in the platform that I didn't touched on yet.

On the topic of customer support, you can't let a client wait for several hours before you get a reply. Also when you have found a free actor in the platform, and you see who made it, you should be able to connect with the creator of the actor more easily. To get what I wanted to do, I had to set up a tender, which was never connected to the two developers I found initially. I had to go through LinkedIn to connect to one of them to have her make the actor I wanted at a price, which was lower than the only offer I got on my tender. And that was because she had already made the actor in a free form in the platform and only needed to scale it down for me and adjust it to my wishes.

Apify is a managed service that scales to the user needs, It's support team helped to navigate and setup the project it reduces our time to go to market. their web scrappers helped and saved a lot of time for the developers.

It's harder to navigate to each feature, Since we are using it on a weekly basis each time a new feature get updated, their pricing is little bit a higher for the startups.

The ease of use and the fact that there are multiple ways of using it...this made it more efficient Apify has a friendly user interface I am also impressed by how cost friendly it is it is not expensive

Nothing really i had a great time using Apify it is on another level hence has not yet found anything to state as a dislike

They always listen to feedback and have a huge range of scrapers and actors available now

Took a while to figure out which would be the best actors to use but once we got started it was very easy to implement

The most useful thing so far has been the "store", which lets you use scrapers others have built. They are also verified by Apify so you don't get shoddy results. For a recent project, the store had solutions I could use instantly without coding anything. When the store has an actor that fits your use case, you can save a huge amount of time and money. When there's not a built-in solution for you, you'll need to spend a day learning how to use their all-purpose web scraper and write your own. Thankfully, the process is straightforward and should be quick for most folks with development experience.

Some of the "actors" available in the store haven't been reliable. 1 of the 5 I've used so far doesn't seem to work and the developer hasn't responded to my issue. The documentation also feels a bit sparse, though it's not too bad.

My favorite part about apify is the proxy management and rotation. Traditionally this is a nightmare for me and I love the completely managed proxy rotation and management.

The pricing is a little bit high. I wish that I could access the pay as you go pricing of actors/proxies without having to pay for a $50/month subscription.

Apify provides a good Interface for any kind of Data Mapping, Mining and Business Intelligence. We are able to fetch data from any type of web resources.

The pricing of the tool is on higher side.

Easy to use with a user friendly interface. I can easily get any sort of data using this software as extraction of huge volume of data from different sources could be done easily with this powerful tool so i can easily get the data i need at any time when needed.
