What is Bookly?
Bookly, built for Wordpress, is an appointment booking software that is designed for businesses across several industry segments, including law consultancies, restaurants, medical clinics, spas, fitness institutes, and repair services. It enables organizations to create custom booking forms with brand colors, available dates, service categories, employee preferences, payment options, and request descriptions.
Bookly lets team members use the color-coded calendar to monitor daily, weekly and monthly appointments and overall workload. The booking list functionality allows managers to maintain a record of customer requests with information, such as appointment date, assigned employee, customer name, payment details, and service order status. Staff members can create personalized profiles with name, image, email address, phone number, specialization, and other notes.
Administrators can use Bookly to create custom email or SMS notification templates and automatically send reminders, appointment approvals, birthday greetings, and follow-up alerts to customers. It lets users generate invoices based on requested services and corresponding tax calculations. Managers can use the activity dashboard to gain insights into overall bookings, payments, and customer engagement rates.
Bookly comes with an API, which lets businesses integrate the system with several third-party solutions including Google Calendar, Woo Commerce, and WPML. It also allows leaders to configure staff working hours and set up service availability schedules accordingly.
