What is Remotty?
Remotty is a Japanese virtual office solution for remote workers that is designed to enable telework communication and provide visibility between employees and departments. The software includes automatic status updates, voice and video conferencing, and integrations with a range of productivity tools such as Google Calendar, iCalendar, Outlook, Webex, Slack, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and more.
Remotty automatically takes a photo of each user through their webcam every 2 minutes and shares this with colleagues, providing an indicator of whether the user is available or attending a video conference. Users can also manually update their statuses to share what they are working on or if they are on a break. One-on-one and group text chats are supported, with optional threaded communication for groups.
