Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Marvel overview
What is Marvel?
Marvel is a cloud-based platform with mobile support, that enables single or multiple users and teams of varying sizes to create app prototypes within a centralized workspace. Individuals or enterprises can subscribe to scalable monthly price plans to cover several or unlimited projects, plus a host of additional features. The software provides a browser-based environment and a "Design Mode" facilitating the creation of interface assets and mockups, either based on imported Sketch or Photoshop compositions, or from styled scratch. Offering a library of pre-built templates, popular screen components and access to a repository of stock imagery, Marvel's intuitive WYSIWYG and drag and drop approach is codeless to require no specialist development knowledge. Screen and interface wireframes can similarly be rapidly produced, leveraging templates made to accurately match every device from desktop, to tablet and smartphone, while giving access to all stakeholders to post actionable feedback. Designers can collaborate in real time, with Marvel syncing changes to maintain latest versioning, plus URL-based link sharing keeps workflow and access universal. Mockups are then realized into working app demos, applying interactive hotspots to link screens together and form navigational paths, with actions or gestures also attached to fulfill areas of functionality.
In addition, Marvel's integrated Handoff tool takes care of generating specs and handover assets for the transition from design to development. CSS, Swift and Android XML code is derived from any mockup and made exportable for copy and pasting. Collaborative tools also go on to include a "teams" feature for grouping users, shared folder creation and access, real time activity notifications and role-based permission management. Marvel boasts ready integration with a number of third-party workflow products and services, with more facilitated through API support, while a companion app for iOS and Android enables mobile mockups to be created natively on those devices.
