What is Botpress?
Botpress is an on-premise conversational artificial intelligence (AI) platform designed to help businesses in healthcare, financial services, eCommerce, education and other industries create chatbots using natural-language understanding (NLU) technology. Managers can embed chatbots into web pages and utilize a centralized dashboard to gain insights into engagement metrics.
The conversation studio allows developers to create conversations using an embedded workflow designer and a drag-and-drop interface. Botpress lets businesses test, debug, iterate and communicate with chatbots and validate user inputs through custom variables. It also helps IT service management (ITSM) departments intercept or resolve queries before forwarding them to agents and automate specific customers' requests using chatbots.
Botpress facilitates integration with several third-party messaging channels such as Slack, Facebook Messenger, Telegram, Microsoft Teams, and more. Other features include single sign-on (SSO), role-based access permissions, conversation analysis, and Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML).
