GuestTracker is a hotel and property management solution that services all lodging industries including hotels, resorts, luxury inns, B&Bs, state parks and campgrounds, hospitals, universities, government and armed forces facilities. The platform’s features include online booking engines, reservations, restaurant and retail POS, accounting with QuickBooks integration, and a Shift4 credit card integration gateway.

GuestTracker’s booking engine is a full 2-way integrated solution that integrates seamlessly into an organization’s website with visual settings that match the company’s branding. The online booking engine enables hotels, resorts, and B&Bs to show availability, and take bookings and inquiries. Users can customize the guest reservation request forms, capture credit card data, and control room inventory. Additional features include 'a la carte' items and packages, events display, and text message / fax notifications.

The solution’s tape chart feature provides properties with an interactive room chart that allows users to add, change, and move reservations. Users can filter, sort, and print color charts by month, as well as see a full month view of bookings, and check history. The arrival list shows guests’ names, reservation number, date of arrival, unit type, balance, and more. Users can get a full overview of room types and inventory, and can visually check availability. Reservations and guest data can be selected for review or updates. Graphs and charts provide revenue forecasts and an overview of bookings per item at a glance.

GuestTracker’s Point-of-Sale solution enables properties to post charges from gift shops, spas, restaurants, bars, and room service workstations. Users are able to post POS totals to guests' folio, or settle payments at any POS station. Features include server summary reports, receipt printing, check splitting, stock and inventory controls, profit reports, menus, time and attendance tracking, and table/room/item setup. The GuestTracker POS module works with all major touch-screen monitors, and includes a barcode feature for retail items.

It has allowed us to take a manual paper booking system and update it to a computerized booking software that can be used directly with a booking engine. This allows us better control and time management. I like that it allows for automatic owner statement creation, tape chart functionality and that we can post charges for any billing date, even if that date has already past. This is extremely helpful if a charge was missed being posted or posted incorrect. There is no need to balance over multiple days you can just go in and correct the mistake.
