LightWork Time is an agile timekeeping system built for small to medium-sized companies that have single or multiple locations, and/or remote employees. The platform allows time to be entered via desktop or mobile punch, kiosk punch, or biometric/swipe time clock. Users can define earning types for hours, and assign them as regular, vacation or holidays, or sick time.

The solution offers a built-in kiosk mode that allows employees to clock-in and out from any LightWork station. Kiosks can be set up at distinct locations, and configuration tools allow each kiosk to match various organization levels within a company. LightWork Mobile enables users to track traveling employees, and mobile kiosks can be set up on individual devices. Biometric time clocks are customizable and can be installed as a wireless connection, or hard-wired to the company's network.

LightWork Time enables organizations to integrate their existing HRMS, payroll system, or excel sheet for a consistent user experience. The platform’s export interface facilitates payroll and/or attendance data transfers by enabling the user to select the format their payroll system requires. The solution also works with point of sale (POS) formatted flat files and other OleDb compliant data sources, to help with importing time.

Employee profiles enable managers to view information on employees, including demographic data, and employee photos. LightWork Time provides users with a variety of reports such as current employee timesheets, timesheet with in/out time, timesheet by pay code, and more. Lightwork also offers the service of generating company-specific reports for organizations with unique needs.
