Overall we've had a wonderful experience with eVetPractice. Any time we have a problem, we hope on the chat and a support staff member is with us within a few minutes. They are knowledgeable and always work to solve our problems, no matter how long it takes.
eVet is super user friendly and easy to use. We did have a few hiccups with the integration, but it was fixed very easily. I love that it is cloud based, which made it super easy for me to access while I was working from home during COVID. I also like that I can customize our schedule with different colors to help with organization.
With our old system if two people were making an appointment at the same time, there would be a notice in a time slot that an appointment was in progress. That is one feature I wish we had. Also, we do miss some of the different reports. There were a few reports in our old system that provided the exact information we were looking for.

It is fairly easy for new staff to learn and moderately customizable.
The reporting is terrible. We would also like a whiteboard function that performed similar to SmartFlow with a timeline display for hopitalized patient treatments that writes back to the medical record.

I'm still undecided as to whether or not this was a good decision to switch to this VPM software.
I like that it's cloud based and easy to access from anywhere. It has been a nightmare to implement, my clinic started trying to use it in late November 2022 with a goal of launching December 1st and it's almost April and we are still using our old system (Impromed) to invoice everything.
Lots of room for improvement. I wish that the patient weight/signalment was displayed on every screen so when I'm typing up a medical note I don't have to close it and go back to the medical record to see the weight. I wish that I could assign a task for my staff to do from the medical record instead of going to the task screen. I wish that I could assign something other than just a percentage off to a client account (like an employee) to something like cost + blank%.

I'm neutral about the program. It has its pros and cons but needs work
Easy to use, easy to find information and print records, easy to cash out clients
Texting feature has too many steps and I hit cancel more than I hit send because the buttons have been reversed and cancel should not be the highlighted button, send should be. The invoicing can be extremely confusing especially to the client .. try to explain things sometimes is hard and getting yelled at by clients because they are frustrated with the way the invoice looks is not ideal. Rescheduling appointments takes forever.

I like it overall and the ease of it's use.
I like it's intuitive set up and functionality. I like how some things are very customizable. I like the variety of reporting and way the information in the patient record is presented.
I don't like how information in reports can be pulled via multiple reports and often with different results. I also don't like that pulling more than a a few days data tends to make my Pulse program freeze and crash for several minutes making it unusable while gathering data. I also wish we could do more customization with wellness plans and better reporting there. I also would like to be able to set up multiple reminders for things and set up online patient scheduling so I could move away from separate programs like Rapport.
