StartMeeting overview

StartMeeting is an online meeting and conferencing solution which enables screen sharing, audio, and video communication between up to 1000 participants. The platform allows users to connect from their web browser, native mobile apps and desktop apps, and integrates with Slack, Google Calendar and Outlook.

With StartMeeting, participants can join conference calls through dial-in or VoIP, with local dial-in numbers available for a range of countries. HD video can be broadcast and watched through any web-enabled device, with active speaker technology to draw attention to which participant is speaking. Screen sharing tools enable the display of a specific window, app, or user’s entire screen to all participants, and users can highlight and annotate parts of the screen to draw attention.

StartMeeting allows users to record and play back their conferences, and share recordings either privately or publicly. Meeting rooms can be customized with company branding, colors, and profile pictures, and users can manage custom greetings and music to be played to participants when they dial in. Plug-ins for Microsoft Outlook and Google Calendar simplify meeting scheduling and participant invitations.
