What do users say about Iru?

Reviewers appreciate Kandji for its intuitive interface, robust automation, and efficient Apple device management, which save significant time for IT teams. They find setup and deployment straightforward, with responsive customer support and a comprehensive feature set that includes update enforcement and security controls. They value blueprint management for consistency, though some note limitations in granular targeting and flexibility. Pricing is considered high but justified by the platform’s capabilities and support.

Some indicate that managing non-Apple devices requires additional tools, and advanced scripting or reporting features can be restrictive. They mention occasional challenges with blueprint complexity, update delays, and pricing tiers for smaller organizations.

Iru integrations (20)

Integrations rated by users

We looked at 466 user reviews to identify which products are mentioned as Iru integrations and how users feel about them.

Integration rating: 4.8 (104)

Some of our architecture checks Kandji to make sure the device trying to connect is 1: in our company and 2: an active user, so having Kandji speak to our Google Workspace is essential. Luckily, it's pretty much automatic, and manual syncing (for newly-created accounts) takes two clicks.

We are a niche business where having Google Workspace saved us an incredible amount of money in comparison to M365. Having Iru provide support and integration was great for us as a selling factor.

Very slick integration with Google Workspace for user login experience, as well as pulling users from Google Workspace for admin sign-on and device assignments.

Currently not working as expected for SSO login - Kandji are working on the fix as far as I am aware so hopefully this will change in the near future!

Google Workspace is our main source of communication and infrastructure for our company so to have Kandji work with Google Workspace was great.

I was able to pull up our entire organization via our Workspace credentials, which made device assignments a breeze.

Workspace and Okta are both sourced via our HR profile service. This is how we manage users and their devices.

Google Workspace's integration was very important to both import users and serve as authentication.

Managing separate device logins from GWS login directory was added work and a security risk.

Reliable User---device assignment during our onboarding process, solid Apple DEP integration

The google workspace is important as we use it as the directory to assign assets to users.

GWS is our main workspace for ninjavan. Having integration with GWS really helps alot.

Google is used as our IdP and worked well with Kandji's Zero-touch deployment.

we use to use this as our main source of user information to assign devices

Okta logo
Okta

Integration rating: 4.8 (50)

This allows us to match users in Okta with devices in Okta. Also we design our Okta policies based on their management status. Mac devices that are managed in Kandji can log in to our Okta tenant, whereas unmanaged Macs are not allowed to sign in.

Leveraging Push Groups helps me assign library items automatically to devices based on HR attributes like Departments and Roles. It also means that when we deploy a device it is automatically assigned to the user within Kandji.

We had a strong desire to sync our user credentials with our Enterprise Identity Management platform, we'd previously been doing that with Active Directory but that was very problematic for Apple devices.

The only integration I have setup is a directory sync. This is nice but not super critical. Some other integrations with Okta could be more important, but I don't have them enabled.

We use Okta for identity and access management, so seamless integration with Kandji ensures that device policies can be assigned dynamically based on user roles or groups.

We used Okta to allow our end users SSO access at the device level. We had planned to move towards a passwordless set up but did not get a chance to test it.

Kandji is able to communicate to Okta what devices are managed and unmanaged. It's critical for security needs.

SSO login for administrators is great, but it doesn't always work and I have to use my username and password.

Okta Device Trust is critical to ensure access from company managed devices.

Slack logo
Slack

Integration rating: 4.6 (52)

We do not rely on Slack for IT operations or device notifications. All critical workflows and alerts are handled through Kandji and Okta, making Slack integration non-essential for our setup.

Enrollment and profile removal notifications through Slack is super helpful for onboarding and zero-touch deployments.

Kandji will alert us on Slack whenever a device is enrolled in Kandji. This is extremely helpful for visibility.

Very effective for keeping the notifications flowing through a channel to track the process's

Our main communications toool. I do miss more functionalities and customization in slack.

Slack is our main collaboration 'view point' so having alerts etc within slack is helpful

We used Slack to notify us of specific events in Kandji, new Device set ups for example

All it does is send alerts. It works, but there isn't anything else I'm aware of.

Integration rating: 4.8 (58)

As a Microsoft 365 workspace, our device policies must align with email, OneDrive, and Teams usage. Ensuring secure access to Microsoft 365 apps and services is critical to our device compliance and user productivity.

M365 integration with Iru's Passport allowed even our Mac users to benefit from SSO to keep unique required accounts to a bare minimum, while providing IT the necessary controls in case of emergencies.

M365 was only used for small amounts of app integrations. It was non essential, but very nice that it incorporated well.

All of end users lie within Microsoft 365 so it was critical to have that piece available for integration with Kandji.

Assigning users to devices from Entra and using their account details in scripts etc is very helpful.

Staff can login with their Microsoft accounts and it is all synced and we don't have any issues.

we use the full 365 suite and management the ability to integrate was the most important option

Q. What are the benefits of using Iru?

Eliminate tool sprawl:
IT & Security teams are stuck with stitched-together point solutions for users, apps, and devices. There's no shared context or single view, so work slows and risk grows. Days vanish into fractured workflows—constant tab-switching, overlapping consoles, and dropped context between handoffs. Nearly half of IT & security teams cite overlapping tools as their top challenge.

Iru changes this by collapsing the stack. Instead of managing separate tools for identity, endpoint security, and compliance, Iru unifies all three into one AI-powered platform. A single endpoint agent manages and protects every device across Apple, Windows, and Android. Passwordless access with device-bound passkeys forms a trust fabric between users, devices, and authenticators. Compliance runs continuously with tailored controls, assigned tasks, and an Adaptive Evidence Map that stays current.

AI built on unified context
Most AI tools are bolted onto existing systems as an afterthought. Iru AI is different—it's designed from the ground up to connect specialized agents across identity, endpoints, and compliance.
At the core is the Iru Context Model—a living map of your users, devices, apps, policies, posture, events, frameworks, artifacts, and actions. Iru AI runs on this context model to surface insights, orchestrate actions, and maintain audit-ready evidence in a single interface.

This means intelligence compounds across the suite. When your endpoint management system knows about your identity policies, and your compliance system understands your device posture, everything becomes more intelligent and automated. Policy is enforced automatically. Response is faster. Proof is automatic.

Iru AI delivers deep insights to optimize platform use, with intelligent recommendations that flow into direct action, guiding you towards high-value actions and unlocking maximum platform potential. Purpose-built agents in every product turn context into insight, action, and evidence: Compliance assembles proof, endpoint evolves detections, identity streamlines decisions—no extra tools to learn.

Time and control back for IT & security teams
The ultimate benefit of Iru is simple: IT & Security teams get their time back to focus on what matters.

Instead of chasing tickets across disconnected tools, teams work from a unified platform where repetitive tasks are automated, evidence is collected continuously, and insights surface automatically. Hours saved per month add up to hundreds of hours per year that can be redirected to strategic initiatives.

Iru's automation acts as a force multiplier. Auto Apps provide set-it-and-forget-it ease for deployment and patch management across 200+ Mac and Windows apps. Compliance frameworks automatically transform into tailored controls with assigned tasks, eliminating manual tracking. Passwordless authentication removes the burden of password resets and reduces help desk tickets.

The result is a totally rewritten workflow with less overhead. We position IT teams to deliver the best possible experience for end-users. Teams can finally move beyond firefighting to strategic work that drives business outcomes.
