ProLaw overview

What is ProLaw?

Built on the Microsoft .Net framework, ProLaw is a law firm management solution that integrates with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook to organize information flow and streamline legal operations. Designed for mid-size firms, government offices, and corporate organizations, ProLaw connects four key areas of business operations, business development, risk management, financial management, and matter management, into one solution. Key features include case and matter management, client and contact management tools, rule-based docketing and calendaring, risk and compliance tools, a centralized document system, document assembly, time and expense management, and more.

ProLaw allows legal professionals to manage client and matter information throughout the case lifecycle with robust matters management capabilities. Legal professionals can capture time for daily activities and re-coup client-related expenses. ProLaw streamlines the billing process with reporting capabilities, advanced transaction processing, configurable rates, and traditional and alternative fee arrangements.

To manage business development activities, ProLaw provides the tools to maintain an up-to-date database of clients, prospects, and relationships. Contact information can be added to ProLaw's internal database by using Outlook integration to map all existing Outlook contacts to ProLaw. For risk management, professionals can identify and manage potential conflicts before work begins. ProLaw safeguards all legal documents and makes sure that every document is compliant, to reduce any potential risks. With one-touch access, professionals can use ProLaw anywhere, anytime from any mobile device.
