Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Linkly overview
What is Linkly?
Linkly: The URL Shortener Built for Tracking Links That Convert
Linkly is a URL shortener and tracking link platform trusted by over 360,000 organizations worldwide. Unlike basic link shorteners that simply make long URLs shorter, Linkly combines URL shortening with advanced click analytics, custom branded domains, retargeting pixels, geo-targeting, QR code generation, and a fully featured URL shortener API — giving teams a single platform for every tracking link they publish.
Every short URL you create through Linkly is a full tracking link: it redirects through your own custom branded domain, fires retargeting pixels from Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, or LinkedIn, captures every click in real time with breakdowns by country, city, device, browser, and referrer, and routes users dynamically based on location or device. Each link also generates a companion dynamic QR code automatically. This is what separates Linkly from free URL shorteners that stop at the redirect.
URL Shortener Features
Custom branded short links give your tracking links a recognized domain — research consistently puts branded short URLs 25–39% ahead of generic shorteners on click-through rate. Linkly supports unlimited custom domains on every paid plan, with automatic SSL.
Real-time link analytics cover total clicks, unique visitors, geography (country, region, city), device type, browser, referrer, and UTM parameter passthrough for downstream attribution in Google Analytics 4 or any analytics tool. Historical data is retained indefinitely, and enterprise accounts can stream click events directly to BigQuery.
Retargeting pixels on every tracking link let you build audiences from anyone who clicked — even if they didn't reach a page you own. Attach a Meta Pixel, Google Ads tag, TikTok Pixel, or LinkedIn Insight Tag to any short URL, or apply pixels globally across a domain.
Geo and device-based redirects let you route different users to different destinations from a single tracking link — US users to a .com page, mobile users to an app store listing, or different offers by time of day.
Link rotators distribute traffic across multiple destinations on a percentage or sequential basis, ideal for A/B testing landing pages or splitting traffic across affiliate offers. Expiring links deactivate by date or click count and redirect to a fallback URL — essential for flash sales and time-sensitive promotions.
URL Shortener API
The Linkly URL shortener API is a fully featured REST API for creating, managing, and analyzing tracking links at scale. Single link or bulk batches of up to 1,000 URLs per request, with custom domains, geo and device redirect rules, retargeting pixels, and expiry configuration available on every API-created link. An OpenAPI 3.0 spec is available for Postman, Insomnia, or any client generator.
Common API use cases: SMS marketing pipelines where branded tracking links pass US carrier filtering and stay within the 160-character limit; SaaS products building referral programs or magic links with per-click expiry; affiliate programs minting unique tracked links per partner; and enterprise automation via Zapier or Make.
Linkly's redirect infrastructure has served over a billion tracking link clicks at sub-millisecond latency across geographically distributed servers.
Integrations
Linkly integrates with Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot, Twilio, Vonage, Google Analytics 4, Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok for Business, BigQuery, Zapier, and Make.
Why Linkly
Versus Bitly: Linkly includes retargeting pixels, geo-targeting, link rotators, and unlimited custom domains at significantly lower price points. Versus free shorteners: Linkly adds full tracking link analytics, branded domains, pixels, and a complete URL shortener API. Versus building your own: Linkly delivers globally distributed redirect infrastructure, analytics pipelines, QR generation, and a developer API without the engineering overhead.
Linkly. The URL shortener that does more.
