Ari M.: Hi, my name's Ari. I'm director of Web Services for Lionel Trains. I've been working with ScreenCloud for a number of years now, and I would rate it a solid five. Some years ago, my company opened a brick-and-mortar store and wanted to include video screens as part of the decor. We were looking for a solution that would allow us to have custom and low-maintenance ability to offer that sort of media and content, and ScreenCloud was the solution. As an IT person, I'm often looking for ways that I'm able to handle the management, or hand off the management, of a tool to the actual people who use it. The UI on ScreenCloud and its capacity to do everything that they would want to do allows them to manage their own feeds without me having to be a bottleneck. Getting started with ScreenCloud couldn't have been easier. I downloaded apps onto Fire Sticks that I use on the local television, was able to pair them up with our service, and the setup and creation of playlists and schedules just couldn't be easier. If these are your needs, ScreenCloud is an excellent tool. It provides a vast array of opportunities for marketing and messaging, whether it's, in our case, in a retail store or in our corporate office where we're just passing on things like local corporate news and birthdays and anniversaries, as well as our local weather and local news. The service could not be easier. For me as an IT professional, it was very much a set-it-and-forget-it.

Wendy: My name is Wendy, and I am a continuous improvement coaching coordinator at a high school. I would give Screen Cloud five stars. Prior to Screen Cloud, we really didn't have much, other than a Google slideshow that we were using on our televisions. It wasn't very dynamic and it wasn't very effective. We chose Screen Cloud because we really wanted to have a more dynamic production on our televisions throughout our building, and we wanted fast, easy ways in order to upload and change photos. We were also looking for ways to promote events, but we wanted them to look really nice, and we wanted them to be done quickly and easily. Onboarding to Screen Cloud was super easy. It took all of maybe 15, 20 minutes for all of us to spin up and be able to use it and start loading content. I would say if you want something that's not that expensive, you want something that's easy, you want something that multiple users can participate in using the system, this is definitely your best choice. It's a product that's affordable in general, and it makes you look like a million dollars.

It allows real-time and automated information about events and happenings at our school.
We use screen cloud to display live Twitter and Instagram feeds throughout our Campus. The interface is clean, easy to use and accessible via a web browser from everywhere. Lots of additional app integration are available and being added regularly. The Screencloud staff is very responsive and helpful. What I particularly like is the clean design of the displayed apps. It looks very professional.
Ideally, I would like even more customization on the look and fell of certain apps. But overall there is nothing I dislike so far.

Excellent. In fact we just added another screen two weeks ago and perhaps we'll add more in the future... This is the second organization I've implemented Screen Cloud at.
Well structured. Integrated apps are getting better all the time.
The interplay of screens, channels, playlists and apps can be confusing. We've had users confused about how to to best structure a screen for playing to accomplish the desired view for the public. Updating content is a bit clunky sometimes. we use the Building Directory app to allocate dressing rooms for hockey. Because we're shoehorning it for our need, it isn't perfect (but it works). I'm happy to discuss the use case should anyone contact me.

My overall experience with ScreenCloud has been a rewarding experience to be able to create useful content on our audience displays. From a very remote Island in the Pacific, such a system like ScreenCloud has never been used and I'm glad to get used to it and make a significant change in sharing useful digital content to our deskless workers and visitors.

Sharing the magic that happens within a Boys & Girls Club is transformative in our industry – who doesn’t like to be recognized. ScreenCloud Digital signage has been a hit throughout our organization and gives us one centralized platform to seamlessly broadcast information. As a nonprofit, sometimes we wear many hats - this platform is easy to use and integrates with many systems that we already utilize. We use the system everyday and it is easy to implement.
As with any technology, sometimes it has glitches and although that can be frustrating, support has been really helpful in assisting us with fixing any issues in real time.

The customer service, platform and ability to create playlist, channels and brand the experience has led to our staff being able to showcase students and families across our schools. It’s a great tool for recruitment and when we have events at our schools.
Since the upgrades the user interface is intuitive and and allows for seamless collaboration between buildings. It’s easy for an admin to confirm screens are online and update content quickly.
Prior to the updates our screens would go offline randomly and then the screen manager would have to climb up a ladder to manually reboot or push annotate. Since the update last year that hasn’t happened.

Your product is a 9/10, but the great customer service makes up anything the product lacks. 10/10
I reviewed 5 other programs for digital signage, and ScreenCloud came out on top for functionality, ease of use, and most attractive design.
Screencloud still has some limitations and bugs that get in the way. For example, I have run into issues embedding videos from Vimeo.

I enjoy ScreenCloud a lot. It livens up the workplace and is easy to use. The customer service was great and they seem to really care about their customers.
When looking for a digital signage software, ScreenCloud was a little bit more expensive per screen than competitors, but in my opinion, a lot more easier to understand and use. Also, uploading your own videos and pictures is easy along with scheduling times for certain playlists. The customer service was also phenomenal compared to other software. I would email someone about a question, and then 30 minutes later I would have an answer! The team at ScreenCloud was very helpful and worked with us for a while in order to make sure we understood what we were buying and to help us understand all the different parts of the software.
The canvas feature has limited customizability and the app store doesn't have a ton of new apps. Using internal links is also not possible at the time but it seems like other services also do not have that feature. However, from talking to customer support, it seems like they are working on new apps and improvements all the time.

We provide content directly to our patients. Before COVID this was stills and not much else. During COVID we began running video content to ease isolation. We run a lot of content now. We switched to ScreenCloud last year and our experience has been smooth and very worth the price. The software is not designed for being a video channel, and I would love to tweak it for our purposes. But it is much more flexible than our previous product and on the whole I am satisfied. Using ScreenCloud has dramatically improved our service to our patients.
It is easy to access and use, making daily changes. It is flexible and has gone way beyond basic signage.
Not every feature (e.g. scheduling) is available in every tier of production (i.e. "playlists" "channel" "screen").

ScreenCloud has excellent customer service that is fast and knowledgeable. The product is constantly evolving and improving with new features and integration. They provide a lot of very useful and informational instructions and online training in both the technology and the business uses.
The easy of use, the feature set, the integration, the customer support, and all the great training and information information provided on both the technology and business applications.
Would be nice to have a virtual test screen feature so you can see the result of your changes before applying it to the actually screen. Right now you have to apply it to the actual screen to see the results of your change.

ScreenCloud has been a big part of providing timely information for employees in our building, as well as making our lobby space more welcoming. When I looked for a product that would help us provide information to employees in a timely manner and that was more than just a conference room schedule, I tested several options that were more expensive and harder to learn/use. ScreenCloud is the easiest to setup and the features we get for this price-point are well worth the price per screen/TV
I've been using ScreenCloud for a few years, but just upgraded from ScreenCloud Signage to the new ScreenCloud Studio. Just in the little time I have used the new Studio version I would say it is a huge improvement over Signage with regard to ease-of-use and new features. There are several features that I like including the ability to create multiple channels and screencast emergency or other important notices and then resume normal scheduling.
This isn't necessarily an issue with the software, but it would be nice to have some more news options pre-set in the list to choose from when setting up a live-feed of a news channel.

Overall it has been a great experience. Screencloud offers great support and promote a fantastic package in the vast realm of digital signage vendors.
This is a no-frills, easy-to-manage, digital signage application that works very well for our institution.
I do wish there were more integrations available within the app store.

We are using this for digital signage in our school buildings. Daily updates and school spirit content are rotated on a playlist.
The interface and setup is generally pretty easy. We have several devices running ScreenCloud across multiple buildings and once it's set up, it just works.
The interface of the editor is a bit simplistic, and there aren't very many supported content layouts.

Best, easiest and most affordable digital signage solution I have found.
The ease of changing the signage in 1 minute I can update my information. Also the ease of putting outside up to the minute information (weather) for our course is invaluable.
Would like a way to implement live video or animated gifs.

It's been a great experience. I use it for 3 different properties and 3 different applications. Internal communication, a leasing selling tool, and a building directory.
It just works. Every day it launches and runs seamlessly. The Apps are great to pull current news and events and customer services are very responsive!
The integration with the Fire Stick has not been a good experience. The Firestick display needs consistent refreshing and doesn't work always like the web browser so does. Also, the trickiness of adding a new screen, not knowing to do a trial version first, and getting charged was a bad experience. Contact customer service and they got me a refund, but in the begin, I didn't know how to navigator a new screen.

We have 5 locations set up and before going to digital boards it was a chore to update any information on the bulletin boards. This has saved us time and money going to a digital platform and we are able to share more information quicker than ever before.
What I love most about ScreenCloud is the ability to quickly post a picture or information to get on to our boards. This has been the easiest way to get information to our members other than email (which most of them don't read).
The only thing that I don't like right now is that screen cloud won't recognize the latest picture format of HEIC on most iPhones. This forces me to have to change it before posting it through dropbox. This might be a dropbox issue. I don't know

Overall, we are extremely happy with ScreenCloud. Incredible service and we love having some eye popping content rather than a sign. Love the ease of signing in, and may add screens!
The options for installation. We went with an Intel Compute Stick, and it was incredibly easy to setup and operate. LOVE the many ways you can customize the screen layout, the ease of creating playlists, uploading content, and LOVE THE APPS! We use the news ticker on the bottom at all times, toss in the weather once in a while, etc.
We initially used the Google Slides app to pull in the various images we wanted. That became problematic in grabbing the feed, so we went and uploaded the files directly. Wish it was easy to schedule, I have not had time to really optimize the scheduling feature, as it seems like it would take quite a bit of time.

We have used ScreenCloud for over a year. I always thought it was too expensive per screen. I had a need for a second screen to be added, and I came across OptiSigns. I reached out to ScreenCloud and asked about the second screen and if they could be competitive. I was told no. OptiSigns does the same thing as ScreenCloud, and even used our existing hardware (firetv stick), and is half the cost. At $10 per screen, it's a reasonable price for use to expand to more screens. So we switched.
The cost was too high, and there are similar and better priced products available.

We have been very happy, and it is exactly the solution that we have been looking for. We have not searched for another solution after using it.
It's very easy to use. It allows you to remotely edit multiple screens and locations. It has templates if you need them. And the interface is sharp and simple.
The mac desktop presenter app is a little buggy. Also, I wish you could schedule playlists for certain times, so you can have multiple playlists for each screen.

Screencloud support is extremely responsive when I had a question as well as an issue. The thing I like most about ScreenClodu is it just works. It is basically set it and forget it if that is the approach you want to take. It can also be as hands on as you want.
The ease of use of the product, and the ability to utilize with different mediums such as FireStick and Chromecast. I also like the ability to seamlessly add content to our library, the scheduling ability and the available apps. There are just so many good things about the solution.
I would like to see discounts for multiple screens.

I like how easy it is to change out the content on the devices. It's also great that I can access it via the mobile app and change things on the go.
I don't like that we use the Amazon firestick to get the app to our TVs. The firestick has constant updates which causes the content to crash and you have to manually go in and reopen the Screencloud app on the firestick. Sometimes you have to completely delete the app and redownload it. Highly recommend going a different route than the Firestick.
