What is openSourceCM?
openSourceCM is a web-based contract management platform with tools for uploading contract files, processing and indexing documents, managing contract-related tasks, reporting, searching documents, comparing contract versions and tracking changes, approvals, managing virtual data rooms, and more.
Users can upload multiple different file types into openSourceCM, including Word, PDF, Excel, and scanned documents, where they are processed by the in-built optical character recognition (OCR) technology to extract data, and document structure analysis (DSR) to create an HTML document from each file, with contracts parsed into sections and clauses, and hyperlinks to referenced documents are automatically inserted. openSourceCM automatically generates a report of all documents which have been referred to in contracts but are not present in the system. Documents can then be compared regardless of their original file type, with changes presented paragraph-by-paragraph, in full text.
openSourceCM allows users to search any combination of folders, file names, document content, and metadata, both individually and simultaneously. Content and metadata can be searched in 190 languages. Full-text phrase and keyword searches can be carried out on all file types, and searches of keywords, term definitions, and concepts can be displayed across multiple contracts. Searches can also be executed based on both automatically identified attributes, such as the contract title and parties involved, and user-input attributes, including payment terms.

Role-based and user-based approvals can be set, with options for dual parallel or serial approval processes, and notes added to rejections and approvals.
Document structure analysis parses contracts into sections and clauses, and hyperlinks to referenced documents are automatically included, with a report generated of all documents referred to that are not present in the system.
Users can search file names, folders, document content, and document metadata, with full-text keyword and phrase searches available for all file types.
