What is Pipe App?
Pipe ensures a natural user experience, providing the best possible task management system capturing data from your job sites.
Pipe offers three user levels. Admin and super users enjoy the calendar as a default landing page, whilst the technician views the mobile-friendly my tasks page. All user roles have access to the client list, property, and job listings. Technicians can edit and add information to assigned tasks, and admin users can edit and access all tasks.
Getting started is a breeze. Adding client details and property only takes a few seconds. Pipe also allows for the mass importing of existing data. With Pipe, you can assign several tasks and separate technicians, as a single job may require several visits (known as tasks). The information uploaded by the technicians during their site inspection saves within the Job folder keeping a record of the specific task.
Users can add insurance details too. Pipe will link only the required task to the policy to avoid mixing personal work with insurance work. Each job can have separate billing details too. By default, we use the client's details. Doing so saves time when loading new information and creating a job. All fields can be accessed and edited at a later stage. Only specific fields are mandatory, which we do deliberately to allow the office staff to assign jobs and tasks very quickly.
Pipe's custom form builder allows technicians to provide precise feedback and complete industry-standard forms.
The property information gathered is also unique to Pipe. Adding Property information, such as how many levels a property spans, gives the technicians a great understanding of the property before tending to the address. Users can also add alternate contact details for a property if the primary client is not the contact person.
Sharing information saves time when assigning jobs to technicians. Knowing the location of the nearest service agent expedites reaction time, leading to better client satisfaction and productivity, and profits. The map shows properties and other technicians' locations.
Once a technician arrives on-site, they can clock in and out of the task to ensure your company invoices for all the time spent on a project. This function provides a crucial backup if any labor time invoiced is queried. Technicians can upload pictures, video clips, word and excel sheets, and PDF documents. The Links section directs users to content hosted elsewhere, which is very handy for sharing building drawings and information maintained and updated regularly.
Task and invoice statuses are easily updated and displayed in the color-coded scheduler. Users can track progress on any connected device. Reassign tasks via the drag-and-drop scheduler across several days and weeks. Adding more tasks to an existing job is done with the copy task button. Drag the task to the technician and time slot. The technician will automatically receive an email about the new task.
It also offers a chat section where team members can interact with each other and clients.
Users can create and share quotations direct from their smart devices. Products and services are uploaded together with pictures of the products. Quotes are emailed or printed on your company letterhead. Users can add and edit recipients too. Selected clients can join the customer portal. Customers can view their tasks and upload documents related to their jobs. Client feedback gets done via the portal.
