What is TRAY?
TRAY is a cloud-based point of sale (POS) platform for amusement parks, family entertainment centers, and restaurants. Features include integration with self-order kiosks, online ordering, mobile app ordering, third-party delivery integration, electronic waivers, party booking, and handheld device ordering systems.
With TRAY self-service kiosks, menu photos can be displayed to provide a visual ordering experience for customers. For repeat customers, profiles can be saved and accessed on future visits using a phone number, and users can enable add-on suggestions and visual modifiers at the point of order completion. Through integrations with kitchen display systems (KDS), all orders can be routed directly to the kitchen for fulfillment. The TRAY KDS offers flexible hardware choices such as different screen sizes and mounts, all of which are suitable for withstanding kitchen environments. When orders are received, they can be automatically routed to the correct station. If there is a delay in completion time, chefs can send cook time notifications and delay alerts to front of house staff so that they can notify customers.
The point of sale (POS) feature uses EMV-enabled handheld devices for staff members to take orders and complete payments, signatures, and tips. TRAY kiosks integrate with many existing POS systems and can also be used as a stand-alone product or in conjunction with other TRAY cloud-based POS systems. With the TRAY party bookings system, customers can book parties online via the website where they can be offered custom reservation packages and add-ons. Users can input party room capacities and times for TRAY to automatically manage and calculate capacity and space availability during the online booking process.
