ICTPBX overview

What is ICTPBX?

ICTPBX is multi-tenant IP PBX software you install on your own Linux server. It is built on FreeSWITCH, managed through an Angular dashboard, and unified by a single ICTCore REST API that covers voice, fax over IP and fax-to-email. Because you host it, the phone system, the call recordings and the billing data all stay on infrastructure you control.

Every tenant runs in its own isolated PBX domain with its own extensions, IVR menus, voicemail boxes, call queues and conference rooms. Administrators work from one dashboard rather than jumping between per-customer installs. A four level role hierarchy of Super Admin, Tenant Admin, Agent and End User keeps each group to the screens it needs, and JWT RS256 authentication secures the API layer.

A WebRTC softphone is built in, so staff can take and place calls straight from a browser tab with nothing to install and no plugin to maintain. For desk phones, zero-touch provisioning pushes configuration to handsets automatically instead of someone typing settings into each one.

SIP trunking connects the platform to any SIP-compliant carrier, so you are not locked to one provider. Fax runs over T.38 and FoIP, with inbound faxes delivered as PDF attachments and outbound fax campaigns available in the paid edition.

ICTPBX was designed for VoIP service providers, ITSPs and telecom resellers rather than for a single office. White-label branding is per tenant, so each of your customers sees your brand or theirs. Quota and resource management, billing controls and fraud prevention are part of the platform, not bolt-ons. There is no per-user or per-extension licence fee, so the same installation scales from a handful of extensions to thousands of seats.

The product ships in two editions. Community Edition is free and open source under MPL 2.0 on GitHub, covering full PBX management, IVR, call queues, voicemail, internet fax over T.38 and FoIP, the WebRTC softphone, and CDR and call reporting, with community forum support. Professional installation, configuration and testing is available separately as a $400 flat fee.

Service Provider Edition is a one-time $8,000 licence for one server. It adds multi-tenant architecture, white-label branding per tenant, role-based access control, quota and resource management, fax campaigns with fax-to-email, DNC list management and advanced CDR reporting. Professional installation, configuration and testing is included, along with two weeks of priority support.
