What is Remi?

Remi is an AI receptionist for service businesses in South Africa and the United Kingdom. It was designed for both markets: local phone numbers, local pricing in rand or pounds, and data handling built for POPIA and UK GDPR.

Phone answering

- Answers every call 24/7 with a natural voice, in English (and Afrikaans in South Africa)

- Understands what the caller wants, checks live availability and books, moves or cancels the appointment

- Puts callers through to a member of staff when they need a person, and takes messages when no one is free

Messaging

- Replies to WhatsApp and SMS, including all 11 official South African languages

- Sends appointment reminders to cut no-shows and refills cancelled slots from a waitlist

- Sends a morning brief of the day's appointments

Calendar and booking integrations

Google Calendar, Acuity Scheduling and Cliniko. Bookings go straight into the system the business already uses.

Payments and invoices

Chases overdue invoices from Xero, QuickBooks and Sage (or a CSV import), with opt-outs, a dispute pause and a kill switch. Booking deposits through Stripe, PayPal and Paystack on the Complete plan.

Dashboard

Live dashboard of calls, bookings and revenue recovered, an inbox of every conversation, client profiles with notes and visit history, digital intake forms, and an "Ask Remi" copilot.
