Nimbus is a cloud document management platform with a secure integrated client portal for businesses of all sizes. The solution combines server file storage with email communications, shared document editing, digital document signing, webform checklists, and practice management/DM database integration for a complete paperless office and streamlined workflow. Additional key features include team-based security and workflow, MS Office add-ins, and CRM integration.

Nimbus includes cloud document management (CDM) with a file system and automatic document versioning which enables users to create documents from standard or user defined templates. Features include online editing and viewing for various document types, as well as MS Office add-ins for direct integration to Nimbus. Users can define custom document metadata, manipulate PDFs, rearrange pages, append files, apply custom stamps, and more. Nimbus CDM also features search functionality, full text keyword analysis, various display modes and custom views, as well as flat file and folder based user interfaces. Users can share documents with their clients via the client portal and use the Nimbus Common Document tool which includes features for client communication, digital document signing, document storage, and a method for sending and receiving documents.

Nimbus also offers email communication and marketing capabilities with intelligent web forms and checklists which enables users to customize templates and reminders to their unique requirements, track email responses, set automatic reminders to clients, and more. Clients are provided with the ability to schedule meetings online, as well as view the calendar to check staff availability. The client database within Nimbus enables organizations to store an unlimited number of clients and contacts in the cloud, view a full history of client events, access client information via mobile device, and more.

Pros
The staff at Monteck Carter have been using Nimbus for nearly over 6 years. We've also changed over from another software to XPM recently & the transition was super easy to do. We use Nimbus for our Questionnaires, Quotes, GST reminders and submitting the completed annual accounts to our clients. It is super user friendly system and the support is out of this world. We are constantly seeking opportunity to streamline our processes and to be a paperless environment and this software is crucial to our success achieving this. I would highly recommend this software for any accounting firm.

Only looked at Nimbus as a tool to make us GDPR compliant, but it’s turned out so much more. We use it for many tasks, especially helpful with onboarding.

Pros
Easy to use, very client friendly. Has been easy to set up scheduled and repeated emails. The digital signing of documents has been very useful and time saving.

Cons
A little clunky when setting up a new client and linking to a contact, but once you know how it’s simple

Would recommend this system for any business with large volumes of documents and/or sharing of files with clients.

Pros
Nimbus provides a secure client portal for easy sharing and signing of documents - no more email attachments! The Microsoft Office Add-ins are also very handy to use for saving documents straight into the CDM system. Also is mobile-friendly for viewing and signing your documents.

Cons
There was nothing in particular I didn't like, as it does what it's supposed to.
