CloudBooks overview

What is CloudBooks?

CloudBooks is an online invoicing software for small businesses designed to help users with accounting, online billing, time tracking, and project management tasks. The application allows users to monetize billing hours spent on projects and provides secure online payment gateways to enable customers to pay through their credit cards, cash, or PayPal. The software tracks the check-in and check-out time of employees and the total time spent on a particular project, including the time spent on training. Project management rights and permission-based access can be used to limit users' access to documents that include critical financial information.

CloudBooks helps users to schedule recurring billing for regular projects and send bills to clients on completion of the billing period. Detailed reports are provided on payment collection, profit and loss statements, and project expenses, to help users analyze monthly or quarterly business earnings. The software tracks unpaid and partially paid invoices, and sends reminders and email notifications to clients to make their payments.

CloudBooks helps users to prepare customized estimates for prospective clients and automatically convert accepted estimates into invoices. The software helps users know the status of estimates including which invoices have been converted and which have been rejected. .

CloudBooks' expense management feature enables users to identify non-productive expenses and provides ways to control spending in that area. The software integrates with applications such as Freshbooks, Basecamp, SendGrid, Stripe, and Paypal.
