Pros

The cost, the multi-window feature, and being able to view all claim history for all claims billed by patient.

Cons

Issues with payroll view that then leads to issues with time overlap, and mobile view of Agencycore is not compatible with all devices or computer screens.

Started out strong but fizzled out

Pros

When we started with the company in 2013 we were somewhat pleased with the software. It had it perks.

Cons

This software had us so out of compliance with the COPs and state regulations that it has taken us 7 months to begin to get back in to compliance.

This is a good basic system. It's simplicity makes it good for a small agency or a non-skilled agency.

Pros

I love the patient screen and scheduling screen.

Cons

The claims history is jumbled, and can't sort by year.

Pros

Oasis, SNV note format always keeps in compliance with regulatory, and very easy to use.

Cons

Commonly used reports such as employee payroll, weekly schedules, census by physician etc etc. could be a bit more user friendly.

Overall, We are happy users of Axxess and they have been a great EMR partner. If they could just institute more frequent updates to the basic functionality to make the software even better and more thoughtful I would then be able to give a 5-Star review.

Pros

Windowed environment provides intuitive ease of use, anyone that is familiar with the basic operation of a Windows or Mac computer will find it easy to learn to navigate Axxess.

Cons

Patient "Vital Statistics": It would be nice to have an easier way to access patient information such as ICD-10 Codes, Address Information, Insurance numbers, SS#'s, etc. for quick copy so that they can be easily pasted into other billing applications and portals.

Great for billing and charting transparency

We would also benefit from a reporting function for the Stick notes AND the Status Names from Activity Logs.

Pros

Simple to use and mostly intuitive. A good tool would be to have a curriculum / test for each module "How to complete and OASIS ' based on their permissions. This shows the Administrator that a new / current employee is competent in completing such a task.....Video, then test, where they need to pass 80%. if not, the employee stays on 'probation'. Of course you can give the administrator to wave the testing and let them 'wing it' at their peril.

Cons

We need a report that becomes a checklist of steps needed to complete for each patient's claim.....by insurance, by task, tied to the RAP/Final status, tied to an ability to input contact withe the RN's for Tasks and MD's / MD offices for Orders.....i.e., 'Contacted dr Jones 5/4, sent 2nd fax of order 5/27, Office closed for holiday 6/2-9.'

The activity report is great for keeping track on our employees productivity and being able to know if/when they are starting their paperwork.

Cons

My QA does not like the new QA center; however for those new to the product it wouldn't make a difference since they would be learning it the new way already.

Software is good, customer support is bad

Why is Axxess not willing to send notifications when there is a software change in billing?

Pros

Allows for patient signature and for staff to complete paperwork on phone.

Cons

We find out when our claims are rejected by insurance companies, costing months in delayed payments and time to figure out what changes Axxess made but did not bother to notify us of.

EASY TO USE AND LEARN, SIGNATURE APP IS GREAT FOR VISIT CONFIRMATION, PATIENT INFO ON PATIENT LOOK UP PAGE NICE.

Cons

PRINTING ORDERS, RECORDS FOR REQUESTS (NIGHTMARE), REPORTS ALL COUNT MISSED DAYS NOT NEEDED ON ALL REPORTS, CAN'T CHANGE IT, WHEN CHANGING OR LOOKING UP PROVIDER INFO, EXTREMELY SLOW ALSO CHECKING IN ORDERS 1 AT A TIME ALSO SLOW, ACTION MENU WAS ACROSS SECTION NOW PULL DOWN (DO NOT LIKE)

Only downfall is certain functions (such as not allowing one clinician to close multiple visits for the same time and patient signature) is not in the system as of yet but they are always doing updates which is nice.

A human being always answers the phone when you call Axxess. They have always been able to help us immediately with support issues. They are friendly, professional and knowledgeable.

Cons

When you are switching from patient chart to schedule or other views, the chart of the first person in the patient list always populates.

The entire program is very easy to learn and use (except for some glitches).

Cons

(2) Limited reports. (3) Patient Chart Schedules should show actual visit dates, not scheduled dates so they are not confusing to staff. (4) If changing/correcting SOC date, you have to manually update different forms to sync the date.

would like to see an automatic age calculator, option to mark "missed visit" under details, different color codes for "Completed", "To Be Sent To Physician", "Returned W/ Physician Signature", option for nurses to upload previous SN Note without Dates and Vital Signs information.

I like the feel and energy of the company.

Pros

Ease of use and features. Weekly training is very useful for new employees. Great support during and after Hour calls upon call in.

Cons

Can't print staff patient load. Schedule list all visits for that staff then you have to go in and delete repeated patients.
