Shaka Connections - Shaka’s most powerful tool, Connections automatically schedules new coffee chats across your company. Shaka integrates with Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook to find convenient times in an employee's local time zone for 20-minute coffee breaks. Participants can opt into Shaka connections and select how frequently they want to be paired with someone new. Shaka uses an intelligent matching algorithm to make pairings based on meeting history, employee department, office location and tenure. These criteria help ensure your employees regularly meet new people.

Shaka Shoutouts - Encourage peer recognition with Shaka shoutouts. Employees can easily give a shoutout using the Shaka shoutout command in Slack or Teams. Shaka will highlight this shoutout in the public channel of your choice, helping your team feel appreciated and recognized. Companies can sponsor shoutout points which can be given with shoutouts and redeemed for rewards right within Slack & Teams. Shaka Challenges - Choose from a menu of challenges to create some friendly competition within your organization. Challenges have unique and fun goals such as trying new healthy recipes, shopping local, spending time outdoors, random acts of kindness. The Shaka App for Slack or Teams will promote the challenge a week before it starts and invite employees to join voluntarily. When the challenge starts, participants can make submissions right in Slack or Teams using commands. Shaka will send leaderboard updates and reminders to make submissions throughout the challenge.
