Spot easily allows any employee to report an instance of workplace harassment, discrimination, or other inappropriate conduct. They can file these reports anonymously or not—or identify themselves later in the process, if they so choose. The recipient can engage and re-engage with the submitter, including letting them know how they chose to address the situation in question. It solves a problem that we all wish we didn't have, but know we do. Most usefully, our employees are comfortable using Spot to report interpersonal issues that don't rise to the level of a formal reprimand or termination, and helps us deal with situations before they get too serious.
Spot is user-friendly and easy to understand, both for the user and the administrator. It's also nice that you can continue the engagement with the employee throughout the process. I like that I get various alerts—Slack, email, etc.
I wish the custom questions portion was a bit clearer.

Spot enable us to receive reports of inappropriate behavior and conduct at our conferences and other events. This allows us to respond to those who have filed the reports and take action against the accused when warranted. It is also providing valuable data so that we can compile a list of all the types of inappropriate behavior that is reported. We plan to learn from this, provide better information to our members regarding appropriate behavior, and strive to reduce instances of inappropriate behavior in the future. Spot is helping us to make changes for the greater good.
We are particularly impressed by the ability of the software to accept and process reports that allow the reporter to remain totally anonymous. This is what primarily attracted us to the software as we have experienced difficulty and frequent reluctance in the past by individuals who might file a report because they could not remain anonymous.
The only thing we experienced early in our use of the software was that we were unable to return to view our responses to reporters. We mentioned this and believe that this situation may have been corrected but we have not had an instance to go through this recently so not sure for now. Aside form this, we had no other areas where we were unhappy with the software.

Our experience has been great. They provide up to date training with current examples. The training is interractive so I know my employees are not simply turning on a video and walking away. The anonymous reporting platform is amazing for having a safe space for employees to provide their claims without feeling nervous about who they are reporting to.
We loved that it combined the harassment training with the anonymous reporting. This is a game changer!
We are not an enterprise user which means there are not many customization options.

We started using Spot as a tool for reporting harassment because we're aware that coming forward in person can be extremely challenging. We're also aware that somebody may want to prepare a detailed, timestamped report of an incident - but may not be ready to share it immediately. Spot has been a huge help in both these cases, among others. Spot gives us tools to quickly follow up, even on anonymous reports. The ability to ask questions and engage with anonymous reporters has been invaluable.
The biggest challenge we had with Spot was having to find a workaround for anonymous reporters to upload and share documents related to their report. Spot's team have been incredibly responsive and since incorporated this as a feature that works great.

The contract to onboarding to use has been seamless. The content is written with today’s lens and the reporting experience is unique as lots of folks trust a chatbot experience versus interacting with a human.
Spot is the idea harassment training because scenarios are up to date to today’s world and the stories and images are engaging. The reporting also feeling modern given that its built over a chat experience.
I’d love a more integrated connection with our HR system, but that’s coming soon.
