ManageEngine Applications Manager provides a comprehensive set of monitoring features for a wide range of applications and servers.

No Cons as of now after the recent upgrade

Possibility to monitor various types of devices in one place, creating service availability reports

Notorious problems with updating the Applications Manager plugin in OpManager, problems with monitoring devices using SNMP, the graphical interface is not user-friendly

Ease of Configuration- Intuitive User Interface- Add ons to monitor specific applications (Ex. SAP , End User Monitoring)- It Provides features to restart Database and OS Services once it detects the service stops for any reason.

Lacks capabilities to monitor in depth for certain databases (Ex. SAP IQ, SAP Hana). Basic Reporting capabilities

ManageEngine Applications Manager was easy to install , use and no training was required to get our monitoring software started. It is a multipurpose monitoring tools for client applications, fundamental foundation parts,such as application servers, databases, huge information stores, middleware and informing segments, web servers, web administrations, ERP bundles, virtual frameworks and cloud assets.

Updating ManageEngine Applications Manager is not a straight foward process because sometimes documentation is not extensive.

The product provides support for monitoring of containerized applications, including Docker and Kubernetes.

The tool may not provide enough support for monitoring APIs or web services.

When its comes to the Auto discovery can be improved.

Every time over changes in database for a query, reboot requires of application manager for changes to take effect.it can be improved by updating database on the fly.

1. User friendly and we can customize this product as per our requirement. I did some customization for mongodb with the help of APM team and which is supports my requirement. 2. Sequential improvement on product. 3. New Features.

It has all hardware/application monitoring features in one place.

It cannot auto resolve alerts on its own. Human interference is required.

It provides a centralized and comprehensive view of all IT operations, enabling efficient monitoring and troubleshooting.

Everything is up to the mark, due to this I did not find anything lacking.

We use applications Manager to monitor all our IT resources with this product, It helps in identifying the root cause of the issue, generate reports and Alarms saves major of time with great support and development team

Expensive. Support sometime takes a hole day or two days to be resolved. Different cost for different agent."Easy to configure ,apply and use it. We use APM 3-rd party tool to monitor the health and availability of our servers.

We are happy with the product. Have no complaints so far

Server availability report and monitoring of servers and easy to operating of application.

Report is very important for us and need to more improve in report section .

Alert features for server monitoring and Real time montoring of databases are very helpful

Dashboard for NOC needs to be enhanced in AppManager

- Polling data for some of the matrices we are monitoring is rotated after a short period of time so we cannot access it days later, only a short time, up to 24 hours after it was collected

The dashboard needs to get revamped and a few features are missing
