TestMonitor overview

What is TestMonitor?

TestMonitor is a SaaS-based app promising a complete and user-friendly test management solution that is suitable for Agile and traditional software development methodologies. Also fully compliant with ISTQB and TMap NEXT testing methods, TestMonitor offers seamless integration options with popular third-party services such as JIRA, Github, Instabug and more, via Zapier. Claiming a real ease of setup thanks to step-by-step walkthroughs and video guide support, users of all levels can quickly begin testing projects by defining or importing requirements, risks and stories to prioritize the quality metrics and test cases of most importance. Tests can then be organized within TestMonitor's intuitive web-based dashboard, specifying test cases within the built-in editor, importing from Excel and linking to requirements all inside a single centralized space. Milestones can then be established to flag key project stages and events while test runs, both current and historical can be viewed and queried for auditing purposes. New and reusable test runs can be executed from anywhere and at anytime thanks to robust device access, feeding back live results as they happen.

In addition, TestMonitor includes issue tracking tools with filterable data fields, syncing the latest testing information across every team member. These real time insights can then be summarized visually with advanced reporting capabilities where multiple test runs can be compared, workload progress analyzed and more.

Easy testing. No more excel and happy testers which are mostly users in our organization.

Pros
The intuitive interface for endusers. They can really start testing within minutes. Managing mass of test results is very clear and easy to convert to issues. Issuemanagement is complete and you're on top of all issues in your project or sprint.

Cons
It is manual testing and not automated testing. TestMonitor is integrating with automated testtools, but it is not integrated.

It increases the feeling of being in control of your tests.

Pros
It's easy to use, it gives a good view of what to do/what is done. It gives a good quality reports. Most of all it helps you being in control of your test period

Cons
You have to create your own input/scenarios. Sometimes you want parts of your processes to be tested automatically the system doesn't support that.
