It’s a staple of our Shopify-based ecommerce store.
Referral Candy works. We use it as a part of our Shopify store, and we’ve had success with it. About 3% of our monthly sales are generated via Referral Candy. The interface is easy to use, and the constantly make improvements, month to month. We essentially set it up, and review it once every four months — we love how little administration we need to do.
We’ve seen other referral programs offer a “stage-based” referral incentive (eg if you refer 5 or 10 people you get a special Gift). I wish Referral Candy offered this. Additionally, there are automatic “share” buttons that are easy to include for customers associated with Facebook and Twitter. I wish they had the ability for us to program sharing via WhatsApp. Finally, it appears the price has increased for ge software, which is not ideal

The most important feature is you can setting up all text. I´m understanding a checking the software yet.
Where are the dashboard for each advocate can see it own tracking of rewards, use of personal links, goals accomplish and statistics ?

Poor and expensive
Nothing. It isn't working yet for us, so I have no results at all
Few examples how other brands have used it... How often to use it, where it is placed on out site, examples of the process etcThe software didn’t work for our trial period. Without asking, they billed a year in advance, even before it worked. We are now 6 weeks in and have not used it once and have so far paid over $500!!Customer service is also poor! With no response to messaging, thus the review. I told them if they didn't get back to me I will write the review and hey ho... they didn't respond.We are still trying to get the money back and still trying to make it work, to then decide if it is good or not ! The software itself is fairly easy to use and set up
Changing the pronoun of the reward is quite manual, and you need to edit the text on all content.

Our experience has been great and we receive excellent customer service from [SENSITIVE CONTENT].
Our organization uses Referral Candy on a daily basis for our customers. The software helps automate the referral process and requires little to no work on our end. Our customers have their own referral portal and can manage their referrals on the back end. Great product!
At times the site can be a little slow when needing to manage a customer's referrals. However, the overall quality is great.

We have gained a significative piece of market and customers, with a minimum amount of effort and expenses, as the referral program can auto-sustain itself and grow thanks to the old word-spreading system
Managed to integrate RC with our CMS in few clicks, the platform is surely the most user friendly out there, all the info and actions are easily reachable and well organized in the backend. It's super easy to track all referrals activity, validate purchases or invalidate fraudolent ones. The native connection with other marketing platforms and social is great for boosting the referral program and spread the word.
Maybe the templates translation section could be optimized to be lighter and the whole translation process is sometime redundant, but anyway you only need up to 10 min to translate all your templates.

Being completely new to this type of software and having some difficulty setting it up, I was relieved to be able to have a virtual meeting with a real live person to hash out any roadblocks. Customer support was great!
I wish there was a direct integration with Moonclerk so that a coupon could be automatically applied to a checkout form via the ReferralCandy link. Additionally, it is disappointing that the advocates cannot have a credit automatically applied to their Moonclerk account, and that we have to manually send their rewards. Overall it provides less automation that I expected, and leaves a lot to be desired.

What I like the most about ReferralCandy is that it makes the business grow while making the customers happy, and their friends too! It let this happen through a handful of contents that are partially customizable, and all the rewards to the advocates and their friends are sent out automatically, asking no more effort than to choose which are the discounts that you want to give to the customers, and what are the rules that make the discounts applicable (for example the minimum order value). Plus, the support team is very quick and helpful in answering doubts and questions and giving useful tips to make the most of this software! :)
I would say that the things I liked least about ReferralCandy are: - that I am not able to deeply customize the contents through the HTML exposed - that I am not able to understand how the contents performs singularly (for example how many links are shared from the post-purchase pop-up, or through the first email, the reminder email and so on)

Overall it's a great tool that helps increase conversions
This is the best tool yet to increase customer purchases. I love how it integrates with my website and the fact you can customize it.
Just minor glitches with referral codes not appearing but customer support was able to resolve the issue.

We wanted to engage our customers and let them easily engage their friends. Referral marketing has been on our list for 2020 and with Referral Candy it's been really easy to do.
ReferralCandy was so easy and quick to set up, i think it was live on our site within a week. We've already seen great results and customers engaging. The dashboard easily displays results so i can report on it quickly, which is essential! Support is always so good, really easy with the online chat, i spoke to [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] today and she resolved my issue and made some suggestions which were so helpful!
We've been using ReferralCandy for a few months now and i've not come across anything that doesn't work.

This referral program is a big hit with our customers. It's very customer and user friendly so that's a win for both parties. The dashboard is very easy to navigate and the features are great
I think if ReferralCandy could add more designing elements so we don't have to use CSS or custom coding, that would be great.

Pleasure. Love the product and the customer support
Product is easy and straightforward to integrate with. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] has been very helpful in getting my problem fixed and was extremely patient in guiding me and in ensuring the product works perfectly. She even went out of her way to placing the test order herself. She was also very friendly to chat with. ReferralCandy is lucky to have a team member like [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN]! Will definitely be using this software for some time if everything goes well.
The method used to edit the design and html of the user interface ie emails is not too friendly. Require some basic HTML and CSS skills and took me a few days to get it done.

ReferralCandy is a great company and product! Definitely a no-brainer for a business that relies on word-of-mouth marketing.
I really like that ReferralCandy is so easy to use after the initial setup. My referral program has been quietly chugging away in the background for years. I've also been extremely impressed with the customer service team. They were willing to go above and beyond to make sure we were happy when implementing the tool.
I would rather not have had to get my developers involved to implement this tool, but I believe that is a necessary component of referral program software.

It works by itself with almost no supervision. You can automate most of your referral program and let it works by you.
it is a bit tricky to solve advocates requests and to monitor what is wrong where the system does not work properly. Thank the support team you can handle these situations

It seems that the admin isn't able to dig in further to details that might be important. Like searching for a discount to see who it's connected to.

We have been using ReferralCandy for nearly 1.5 years and love it. The product and customer service team ([SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN]specifically) is awesome.
The product and customer service are outstanding. I recently had an issue with the rewards program and [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN]was able to quickly help me get our program back up and running!
I would like to have the ability to have templated rewards set up so I can switch between them at different times.
